Video: Tediously “outrageous” comic tediously outraged over Palin

posted at 12:13 pm on September 19, 2008 by Allahpundit
Share on Facebook | printer-friendly

Via Breitbart. This makes three has-beens this week alone who’ve tried to siphon off gas from Palinmania (or rather, two has-beens and one never-was). Everyone else in America’s climbed aboard the gravy train; why should D-list comedians be immune? Bernhard’s the most explicit, though, in punishing the “turncoat bitch” for her treason in being Conservative While Female. Read the Sun piece that I linked in Headlines last night after you watch and note the similarly visceral, almost cathartic terms in which “progressive” women express their reaction to her: Murderous rage, urges to vomit, anger to the point of wanting to kick things, and even, per another bit in Bernhard’s act, allusions to gang-rape. This goes way deeper than pro-life/pro-choice disagreement. Judge for yourself what it’s about. Content warning.

Don’t go to the liberal snobbyness of attacking someones looks that they were born with.

DethMetalCookieMonst

…no…she earned that ugly…and she seems to’ve renewed the subscription daily.

It isn’t snobbishness to observe that she’s abhorrent…it just reinforces that your optician knows his onions….

Geez, when McCain and Palin win, what the hell are the next 8 years going to be like from the left? Will we look back at BDS and marvel at how tepid it was?
Think it’s possible they will get so pissed and angry they actually do leave the country? We can hope…

I’m not strong enough to watch.

TexasDan on September 19, 2008 at 12:47 PM

Please leave the snobbyness in regards to peoples looks that they can’t help to the libs.

DethMetalCookieMonst

The ugliness is from within and I can’t imagine thinking like her. She is an example of why I think liberalism is some sort of mental illness. Liberals also seem to like some sort of self abuse. Why would so many of the richest people on the planet advocate and support with such passion policies and politicians that want to take it away from them. What part of equality that is the underpinning of communistic and socialistic societies don’t they understand?

jmarcure on September 19, 2008 at 12:47 PM

Politically shocking? Nothing this smugly old you-know-what says is shocking; rage-oholics like her made sure no one can be shocked about was comes drooling and spewing out of their Dolly Dagger mouths. Cho, Goldberg, Griffin (BUCKET!), ETC., they all dragged the world thru the sewer and made us feel like it could never come clean. That’s their happy legacy.

No, Pam-Mae-La, it’s your job to suck it. Conservative women are not whores, sex addicts, perverts or exhibitionists. (Sp?)

Christine on September 19, 2008 at 12:51 PM

Why do these women all feel like they’ve been “pointed at” by Sarah Palin? I’ve never heard her once pass judgment on any of them – not in all the stuff that people have dug up – nothing.

Sarah, just by being Sarah and successful as a conservative woman has caused these nazi feminist women to really feel unhinged about themselves. None of them can look outward – only at themselves and how they will be affected. Grow the eff up women.

Candy Slice on September 19, 2008 at 12:51 PM

She could have done better, sure, but give her credit for trying.

stonemeister

…”better” is a superlative of “good”. Her rant wasn’t “good” in any way, shape or form…any more than Jeremiah Wright’s or David Duke’s utterances about eachother might be thought as “good”…

“Good, guys…this should clear the air….”

It wasn’t comedy any more than the racial theory Hitler espoused and Heydrich enforced was stand-up.

If you’d notice, she’s also been at least as quickly called out on what she was saying as how she presented herself.

…”ad hominem”…I think not….

I’m still trying to figure out how these so called compasionate liberals can know with such utter certainty that Palin’s baby is unwanted and that the only reason she is keeping it is because of pressure from her mother.

MarkTheGreat on September 19, 2008 at 12:54 PM

Puritan1648 on September 19, 2008 at 12:51 PM

You should switch to the same decaf as canopfor! Man, some people here don’t have a sense of humor!

Seriously, though, why should we lower ourselves to discussing her appearance, or her lifestyle choices? I think that’s off-base. Even if what she said is probably sufficient evidence for an involuntary committal.

stonemeister on September 19, 2008 at 12:56 PM

I wonder if the McCain camp would consider an ad with a montage of these various screeds with the end comment being, “Do these women speak for you” or some such variation.

Her ugliness comes from deep within. It’s hard to be attractive when you are spewing bile.

Remind me in one hundred years to send back a terminator to eliminate her parents so they can’t breed.

sandra….yeah…she used to be somebody once, right?

wildweasel on September 19, 2008 at 12:17 PM

No. She was just always somebody’s friend.

Rick on September 19, 2008 at 12:58 PM

Don’t insult D-listers, please.

I seriously thought she was dead. I haven’t heard from her since the ancient days when she was hanging with Roseanne and Madonna.

Seriously. I’m surprised she’s alive. And could not possibly care less.

Palin hate is in, baby. It’s the new Bush bashing. If you’re a zero and wanna be a hero, be outrageous enough in your Palin hate to grab another 15 minutes nanoseconds of faded fame.

Shorter me: yawn.

Slightly not as short me: Oh, and Sandra – thank you for the 5,000 votes in Ohio and 12,000 in Pennsylvania that you just pushed into the McCain column. Appreciate it, babe.

Professor Blather on September 19, 2008 at 12:58 PM

Nasty inside and out.

Cicero43 on September 19, 2008 at 12:58 PM

Didn’t that female professor at Harvard also have the same vomitous nauseous fainting response when Harvard’s then President put forth the hypothesis that maybe there’s some genetic component to why females are not attracted to or do not decide to advance themselves, in general, in the physical/mathematical sciences. Seems that if these lib women keep getting the vapors everytime something unpleasant is mentioned in their presence, they will set back feminism far more than the election of Sarah Palah (in their demented eyes) ever could. After all, how could you have a female President who on hearing some nasty thing some muslim man might say about women, leaves the room wretching with the dry heaves. So what would the enemy do, send the female libtard President a nasty misogynist video, just before launching the attack, and while she’s in the bathroom composing herself, she misses the opportunity to send the codes for the country to defend itself until it’s too late.
Brilliant.

eaglewingz08 on September 19, 2008 at 1:00 PM

Sandra obviously has many serious emotional problems. Since she gets her income from an “artsy” community, her patrons can fool themselves into thinking Sandra is “edgy”, or something. If she lived in any other field, she would have a chance be properly diagnosed, and possibly treated so she could handle her “issues” without the extreme hatred.

The “progressive left” is keeping this poor, sick individual on the stage for their own entertainment, much to her detriment.

stonemeister on September 19, 2008 at 1:01 PM

Back in the 90’s I wasn’t as politically attentive on the granular level that I am now. I know conservatives generally loathed Clinton, but was there anything even remotely close to this unhinged, foaming at the mouth, insanity that we’ve seen over the last 8 years and starting up again with Palin? I mean I know a lot of Republicans were frustrated that Clinton managed to get reelected and retain high approval ratings despite his scurrilous nature, but this is just ridiculous.

Dudley Smith on September 19, 2008 at 1:03 PM

Travis1 on September 19, 2008 at 1:04 PM

AP-

Let’s start a foundation for people like Sandra, who are obviously in need of psychiatric care, but are exploited for “artistic” or political reasons.

It’s like people paying to see an epileptic! This abuse of the mentally deranged has got to stop!

stonemeister on September 19, 2008 at 1:06 PM

I expected more venom from the posters here-happy to be wrong. Sandra has always been so self involved; we can’t see what she sees in herself.
She used to have a great singing voice; it’s gone now with the smoking and whiskey-her wit and charm have been displaced by bile and hatred.
She was once a competent actress, but she’s now a caricature no longer interested in ‘performance’ or ‘art’-she has settled for angry.
I feel sorry for Bernhard. She’s an example of what Liberalism does to people. Sad.

*SIGH*

I’m so not surprised, ’cause I heard about this last week from someone who saw it live. NOT their wish, but they were ’supporting’ a liberal friend.

She had to endure all the lesbian, liberal couples holding hands by the end (which for someone single, by herself, straight, & moderate to conservative was hard enough), but then for the show to go 45 minutes way too d*mn long with the palin gang-bang talk, was too much for her.

She read her friend the Riot Act (or what for her would be the Riot Act).

I told her I stopped ’supporting’ my friends in this fashion after 30 (she’s 29), because all it does is make everyone uncomfortable. Plus, most of my friends are like me now, because people like this make absolutely no f*ing sense!

Miss_Anthrope on September 19, 2008 at 1:10 PM

Since these jerks like abortion so much (because you know that’s what drives their insanity), how about if we just perform a late-term abortion on them. Suck em out of the country and expel them in the Middle East somewhere. (How long do you think they’d survive over there, anyway?)

I came in just in time to see Palin call Obama out on his “in your face” politics. That’s not new politics, that’s the worst politics, she said. And McCain has said that we have to stop yelling at each other.

I hope the clip from her speech gets appropriate attention. Memo to the left: Your hate must end! It’s destroying this country.

Connie on September 19, 2008 at 1:25 PM

PDS is making BDS look fairly tame in comparison. Sad.

gmoonster on September 19, 2008 at 12:46 PM

Actually, I would say the leftwing’s reactions to non leftists are getting more and more depraved.

They disliked Bush 41. They *hate* Bush 43 and Cheney. There isn’t much of a why really, though I guess they would point to the war (the same was Hillary and Biden voted for).

But Palin? She’s done *nothing* to generate this level of hate that goes well beyond what the left feels even for Bush.

Heck, even the left’s view of McCain has gone from “That Good Republican Guy” to “He lied about being tortured by the N Vietnamese” in just a few months…

Saw her at a Lilith Fair in New Jersey ages ago. She was the “comic relief” between acts. She sucked so bad, that only her most loyal lesbian fans stayed. As soon as every act ended, EVERYONE left the concert venue to be anywhere but in earshot for her awfulness.

After the third act, she said, “Hey! Where’s everybody going? I’m not finished yet!”

Didn’t stop anyone from leaving.

It’s a threat that might incite others to act.

They *hate* Bush 43 and Cheney. There isn’t much of a why really, though I guess they would point to the war…

I like to remind people that Letterman’s production company superimposed that “Snipers Wanted” graphic over Bush when he was nominated… months before the Florida recount debacle.

It wasn’t the war. It wasn’t even the election. It’s because he was a Republican. Period. That was their reason.

saint kansas on September 19, 2008 at 1:36 PM

Nothing more pitiful than a 40+ woman who believed the lies of “feminism”.

Childless. Abandoned by countless men/women/dogs/cats/plants.

Bitter. Declining into their advanced years with only the company of other loveless, forlorn spinsters, that is if they can stand one another, which they rarely can.

Politics is all that they have to live for and what they desperately want, is a politician and an movement that can make them happy. Which will never happen.

Or, make everyone else as miserable as they are, which fits in nicely with leftism.

feminists hate Governor Palin for the simple reason that she does not join them in their (often lesbian-tinged, as with Madame Bernhardt) hatred of the male of the species (or at least their general disregard).

Palin does not subscribe to their core message: “A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle” …and it drives them NUTS!
