They hate Palin for the same reason they hate Bush: either one of them makes liberals look stupid, phony, and impotent no matter what the liberals do or say.

I don’t hate Palin, but I distrust the cult of personality that’s been built around her. You know, when I see Obama’s website logo, it reminds me of a cult symbol. Now the Republicans are doing the same with Palin.

You’re right about one thing- Palin is like Bush in that people love her for her religious values and looks. It seems that the party of Roosevelt and Lincoln has turned its back on individuals of great learning and intelligence- or even Reagan, a prodigious reader.

I’m sure that Palin is a nice lady, but to me she looks like every other politician- and one who as Chuck Hagel says, is not ready for prime time. With an 80 year old in office, the VPs preparedness seems to be a relevant question to ask.

Exit question: When exactly did Palin’s commitment to stopping Iran from getting nukes begin? Are there any speeches in her past objecting to it? Writings? Conversational anecdotes? I want to believe.

Making past speeches a requirement for her to prove she’s against it is a flawed argument called MOVING THE GOALPOSTS.

Ms. Pritsker owns the hotel where the event is being held, I don’t think that makes her the host. I am not sure but unless she is really involved in the day to day activities she probably isn’t even aware. Not that she cares. Rush went to great lengths to clear this up on his show today but maybe there has been more info since then.

Like everyone else after 9/11, Sarah Palin was told to ignore Islam, go to the mall and live like always or “the terrorists win”. It as a strategy has been largely a stunning success. Into the eighth year and most people still do not know who the enemy is or what they want or how to defeat them. Unless Palin took a personal interest, there is no reason that she would know anything about Mohammedans at all. So she will be supplied with a Muslim interpreter of Islam. Then she will learn (be flimflammed) about peace and tolerance from the source.

I was really looking forward to being there. I went the last 2 years and both times I was more than happy to stand as Americans with anyone to protest the Iranian Hitler. This is a shame.
