Because his constituents are mostly ignorant, lazy morons on welfare and he keeps the welfare checks coming.

They’re not only insulting, they’re pissy insulting, saying that we are the ones with the nasty minds for catching their drift.

What dismays me is a sitting President who can show such courage and resolve against islamofascist terrorism, but cower like a whipped puppy in the face of the Democrats and not even acknowledge their calumny.

Actually, for years he contantly painted his opponents as unpatriotic and failing to support the troops. The problem is that Americans stopped buying that line.

If you noticed events that have recently occurred in Pakistan, you might realize why many experts continue to question the US war plan in Afghanistan, including the join chiefs. When Muhsaref was running Pakistan, the US had an ally willing to take the fight to the militants. However, Bush decided to start figting another war. If only the US had focused its military and resources on ridding Afghanistan of the Taliban instead of letting that nation fester into the world’s largest narco state with thriving tribal warlords running most of the country, the situation in the world’s hotbed of Islamic terrorism would be far different. Keep in mind that the very act of the US turning its attention from Afghanistan has created an enormous amount of resentment among the Pakistani people. No one likes having a neighbor that produces more narcotics than Columbia and Bolivia combined, not only funding terrorists but all other kinds of undesirables.

Even if the US now directed its full attention to Afghanistan so that all the Taliban and al Qaeda fighters were forced into the border regions of Pakistan, it’s not clear that there’s either the national political will or political leadership in Pakistan to squeeze the Islamic fighters out of existence. It’s hard to have a very optimistic outlook on how Islamic terrorism will be resoundly defeated with their home bases growing and in the clear.

The anti Palin attacks are truly wierd.

It’s official, if you have a “D” after your name, the media will not question your competence, your ethics – anything. You get a free pass.

It’s unbelievable how, without coercion, the media is doing the Democrat’s bidding. If the candidates of the media get elected, how can they seriously expect the American people to believe that they’ll report honestly on their performance while in office?

“You got to be kind to the disabled.”

This was a cry for help from Charlie. He understands he’s lacking and needs pity.

That does not make it okay to edit interviews, but they all do it. Always have.

That would fly if the RNC were honest with their coverage. IE, I doubt they would have released the “fundamentals are sound” remark immediately after it happened. It needed to be seen by voters in it’s raw form. The RNC, just like the rep congress, would abuse the trust we gave them by taking advantage.

Granted, the lies and deceit about his position by the MSM would be over with, but then they’d crucify McCain for managing information. If an entity is determined to cast someone in a bad light, they will definitely find a way irrespective of how you try to stop them.

The only way to grant an interview is on GOP turf with GOP cameras, and actually require participating “journalists” to pass through metal detectors to be sure they’re not linking live feeds to networks. Those who wish an invitation submit to RNC regulations and sign contractual obligations. RNC owns all rights and edits its own work to be distributed and shown intact.

I seriously think you should have to pass a test in order to vote. We make people take a test to get a drivers license or a gun license. These days, a voting mistake can kill an entire country.
