No, it doesn’t sound heartless. It sounds stupid. You need to stop watching Lord of the Rings and pretending you’re Frodo. If we’re fighting for the future of mankind, and the best we can come up with is these two greasy politicians, than we might as well kiss the gas pipe because we’re doomed. Better to say it’s another farce election, or comic opera; we’re putting up the two most annoying clowns we could find to ride the tiny bicycle and juggle for a while. Maybe, one day, if the American people get serious, we’ll have some real candidates instead of oily shoe salesmen.

And I hate to agree with you on anything, but you’re dead on right about this. You can’t get through any Sarah Palin thread on HotAir without getting some sex starved adolescent saying something about her looks or what they want to do with her. She’s a mother of five and happily married. She’s also our nominee for VP. If you can’t find a bit of respect for her, at least respect the office she is running for. If she says something stupid about policy or takes a bad position, let her have it, but good grief lay off the sex talk.

This incident highlights that there is no moral or ethical character in the liberal mind. They can condone what you say as free speech as long as it is in agreement with the lib leadership mantra.

Hypocrisy is a tactic. To lib’s it is how they fight and remain under cover of freedom of speech. They say anything they want to defame or discredit those not in agreement with them. However, if their opponent uses the same language to describe their twisted mindset they go whining all the way home calling their opponents every profanity in the book. Thus, showing they have yet to be mature and are stuck at the the age 2 with a larger vocabulary.

Listen, Canada *does not suck*. They are a great ally, and I have always thought of the US and Canada as brothers…we might pick on each other a lot (calling each other names, teasing, etc.) but its due to love, family and friendship. When push comes to shove, we throw down and go to bat for each other no questions asked. Look in Afghanistan, we have Canadians and Americans killing and dying there for the same cause. I’ve been to Canada a few times and I’ve always had a great time there, the people are fantastic, friendly and their cities and land are beautiful (Toronto is the safest big city I’ve ever been in).

Focus your anger/ire in the right direction people! The CBC and HRC are the results of liberalism that went rampant in Canada. If anything, it should be a “scared straight” moment for the US to fight the government funding of media outlets (PBS, NPR, etc.) and to fight the Fairness Doctrine with everything we have. We see the results of socialism and liberalism, now we need to defeat them on every front.

God bless America and Canada (Mexico, not so much)!

No thank you. I have read on here for years and I must have missed it, though truth to tell, I really don’t like comments about people’s physical appearance as a means of dismissing them and that goes for both sides. I think it is very poor way to debate and really lowers the bar for everyone. I don’t like the nicknames either side uses, either. But that’s just me.
