The NYT have always been a propaganda tool of the left. I read an article the other day from the Times attacking our military and the atrocities they were commiting. My first impression was the Iraqi War, but it was written just after the Normandy invasion in WWII. The brainwashing may be slowing coming to an end because of the access of information on the internet. McCain has a shot at taking the state. Maybe a chance for “white trash” afterall.

If the NYT folds, well…it’s just another dead newspaper. People treat it with reverence; why? Because it used to be great? Hell, a lot of things used to be great, then got old and tired. The NYT staff believes they can stand on past “greatness” and stay afloat. They don’t understand why they are sinking. It’s like the future of media…they just don’t get it. They think they still define the narrative. Good riddance.

I hope that all the Republican House and Senate members remember the Times treatment of McCain. No matter how cozy they get with the media, the media will never be on their side. Limbaugh warned the freshmen GOP class in ’94 about getting friendly with the press…McCain is living proof he was right.

I hope McCain realizes what a stupid and shallow move it was to court the press at all. If, via the crap Ed documents above, John McCain realizes what a muppet he was to trust the press and refer to them as “my base”, then all this MSM crap will be worth it. McCain will be the better for it, either as President or as Senator.

The mainstream media doesn’t have the influence it may have had prior to the internet. Most are partisan political hacks with an common agenda dictated to them by their “leaders” who are bought and paid for like damaged goods. Why would McCain waste time when he knows he would be dealing with media lies, deception and innuendos? ABC proved they were incapable of telling the truth with the interview with Sarah. Why waste your time.

At least McCain now recognizes that the MSM (NYTs) are not his friends anymore. A lot has changed since the NYTs endorsed McCain earlier in the campaign.

It’s like when somebody kicks a dog time and time again, and then one day, that dog just isn’t around anymore and finds someone else who doesn’t kick them.

Keep up the fight because it is looking good that McCain will win this close fight. Obama will probably get Iowa + what Kerry won, but he would still need more. McCain can gain in the debates too where the MSM cannot as easily manipulate what Americans will see. It could really be a defining moment.
