The Ed Morrissey Show: Senator Orrin Hatch, Mark Hemingway

posted at 1:00 pm on September 17, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll go 75 minutes in a Very Special Episode of TEMS. (No, we’re not talking about dysfunctional families.) Senator Orrin Hatch will join us at 4 pm ET to discuss the Senate races in Colorado and Minnesota, including that despicable ad Al Franken released yesterday. For the first hour, we’re delighted to welcome Mark Hemingway of National Review Online. Mark has plenty of experience in financial reporting, so we will discuss the financial crisis, but we’ll also talk plenty about the presidential race. Be sure to read Mark’s latest at NRO about Barack Obama’s experience as a community organizer.

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.)

Opening animation from TG Studios.

Don’t cave on the sham-drilling bill.

I don’t think there is any interest over here about that.

Epic Fail yesterday.

Ask about a Senate investigation into Obama’s diplomatic extracurricular activities.

Yeah. I don’t think people realize how badly this is going to screw future attempts at domestic drilling, even if McCain wins. I’ve e-mailed the Republican Senate. Others need to do the same.

Ah man; I needed some serious talking off the ledge.

Again, don’t cave on the sham drilling bill.
