Carly Fiorina: Palin couldn’t have done my job — and neither could Obama; Update: Neither could McCain, adds Fiorina

As always when a conservative says something soundbite-worthy, there’s the full, accurate quote and there’s the bowdlerized version generated for mass consumption by the left. See Marc Ambinder for an example of the latter and HuffPo, surprisingly, for an example of the former. Not the first time lately they’ve resisted the temptation to distort.

We’re supposed to wet our pants over this, I guess, based on the theory that if you’re not ready for one of the world’s biggest management jobs then logically you can’t be ready for the very biggest. Maybe that’s true. In that case, is Joe Biden ready to step in and reorganize Lehman Bros.? Let’s let him have a go at it, to see how “qualified” he is to be president. How about drafting The One to run Microsoft? His first act could be canceling those Seinfeld commercials. The irony is, if Romney had been the VP pick, all we’d be hearing now is how running a business is completely different from running a government so surely success in the private sector shouldn’t count when weighing one’s vote.

Even so, she’s having herself a big week, isn’t she? Click the image to listen.

Update: It’s vacation time for Carly.

“If John McCain’s top economic advisor doesn’t think he can run a corporation, how on Earth can he run the largest economy in the world in the midst of a financial crisis? Apparently even the people who run his campaign agree that the economy is an issue John McCain doesn’t understand as well as he should,” said Obama campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor.

Why do liberals think someone “runs” the economy?

I think there are five people in play who couldn’t done Fiorina’s job well; McAain, Palin, Obama, Biden and Fiorina.

Memo: Performance
To: Carly
Date: Today

Carly, you maybe right of course but I would hazard
you can’t do the job either:

* You have run off of 3 corporations so far all whom were in worse shape then when you took office.
* You instituted a ’strawberry incident’ on the board that was as good as the Caine Mutiny.
* You were hauled before a Congressional committee and the best you could do was ‘not my recollection’. Such incompetence would have never permitted you to run HP or being on the board.

Another words you are a flop and a loser. So quit moaning baby and shut the hell up.

Again, the numbers are correct…roughly 15%….in a certain context. Her use of the term “energy supply” can be viewed as misleading….BUT, as your source admits….

“energy supply,” a term that is generally defined as energy consumed.

As I said, Palin played the same game the slimy baby murderer Obama does, but she is a moral person.

I wonder why you would be so dishonest in your complaint when you claim to be only interested in the truth?

Maybe she just needs a nap.

It is apparent that Carly Fiorina couldn’t do her job either. Didn’t she get fired or forced to step down from HP?
