All she does is whine about sexism. It has the same effect as walking around telling people that if they touch you, you will sue them. Completely annoying and the fact that she is known as a former CEO doesn't help get McCain any votes if not lose them. Palin already gets the women vote through identity politics, she really doesn't have much substance yet, the real sexism, if we are to believe what conservatives have been saying for at least the last twenty years, was putting Palin on the ballot because she is nothing more than a affirmative action hire. But Palin gets the women vote nonetheless; Fiorina is overkill and more of a detriment than a benefit. There is nothing likable at all about her.

*Newsflash* Comedy and satire are often politically incorrect. That's what makes it funny. Everyone who is anyone gets satirized, so we are all going to have to get used to it. You can't insert political correctness into comedy or it won't work. In fact, you could do a satirical sketch that is completely politically correct and that might be funny b/c it's so unfunny - a la Norm MacDonald's schtick at the roast of Bob Saget. BTW: Sarah Palin had the BEST response to that Tina Fey skit: "According to her spokesperson Tracey Schmitt, the real Sarah Palin had a good laugh along with the press corps in the back of the plane and millions of Americans at home.

“She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween,” Genius comeback. For those unfamiliar with the way women can be catty and classy at the same time, this is perfect.

Even having seen many of your contributions before I'm surprised at how ugly that comment is. Wow.

You are the first person I've ever seen defend Fiorina's tenure at HP. I'm not saying that makes you wrong, but it is certainly not what one normally hears about her.

For all of you people who believe that Fiorina mismanaged HP you really do not understand business.

Fiorina was brought in at a time that the only division in HP that was meeting its profit margins was the printer division. Their marketing strategies was abysmal. It was an engineer friendly company losing market share on all fronts and their stock was in decline.

The board was hostile and fighting each other (a point that was not resolved until the descendants of the corporation founders were finally forced from the board). She fought these people the entire time she was there.

The HP management style had lost its luster and credibility. HP was known in Silicon Valley as a retirement home. All you had to do was get a job with HP and you were set for life because they never fired anyone.

They had no trained professional sales group. Their software division really sucked. They were immersed in the PC wars and had no distribution system to get the products delivered. The board wanted to place another HP engineer in as CEO but it was the banks and the investment houses that told them to go outside of the company or they were going to devalue their credit rating.

This is just flatly wrong that HP was this little paradise on earth before Carly arrived. It was a company living off one division that was in serious trouble. She came and made the hard decisions that had to be made.

She fired a lot of people and the word on the street in California and Wall Street was it was about time. The freeloaders and featherbedders that were sucking off HPs fortune had to go. If she had not done what she did HP would have gone under and some Japanese firm would now own the HP brand name.

When she shake up an established corporation you make enemies. Internally and externally you get a bad reputation. For all of you blasting Fiorina for what she did you are either woefully ignorant of the time or the facts of what was happening.

Enough with the "Sexism!" already. They got the idea out there quite nicely when they addressed reaction to the Palin pick. They are now seriously overusing the card--strategically, they should keep their mouths shut and let the American public fill in that blank themselves. They are at serious risk of being viewed as whiners who themselves believe that Palin is a lightweight.

We have to be careful with this "sexism" thing. That's a term invented by the Left. Otherwise, it's called treating men and women differently. Because men and women are different. And that's cool, isn't it? Or do we now accept that the Left has been right about this all along?

We fall into the trap of accepting their false premises when we use words like sexism, even though it's fun to throw it back at them. But it gives them credit for too much, and is like us waving a white flag in the culture war.

I thought it was funny and Tina Fey nailed the accent and mannerisms. Palin liked it too, especially since she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween.

The lefty slant was to be expected from SNL and wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Carly needs a funny bone.

Leave Ms. Fiorina alone.

Under Democratic rules she's entitled to be left alone and do her campaigning for Johnny Mac.

The sexist trolls on this seem to now think they can get uppoty and critisize a woman?

You kids need to head back to the Democratic Party reeducation camps for an identity politics refresher course.

Know your place you sexist pigs.

Thanks folks…!

The bird who drops droppings indiscriminately took me to task earlier, without so much as a clue; except for his political bias…!

I want to thank you bothe for your insightful, thoughtful and personal experiences with respect to Ms Fiorina’s heartless lack of personal feelings, lack of comity and understanding with respect to her employees…!

Hopefully Senator McCain will understand the harsh attitude she has previously exhibited.

One can only hope Senator McCain sees the light…?

He should drop Ms Fiorina from his personel staff...!
We can only hope and pray...!

Carly Fiorina was the one at HP that tossed hundreds of Americans out of work to send HP manufacturing overseas. When asked about it she just cattily responded that Americans were wrong to think they had a right to a job.

Well, no Ms. Fiorina, I do not feel I have a right to a job. But I certainly do have the right to refuse purchasing HP products.

After Ms. Fiorina made this anti-American business decision and her even more snide comments afterward, I still boycott HP products.

“douchebag”

Is that a noun or a verb…?
