I think a lot of the folks who have “slammed their checkbooks shut” will come around as the election gets closer and it because truly unbearably painful to contemplate an Obama Presidency. All that means is that while Obama has already wrung his base dry of contributions, McCain may have some possibilities left to get funds if he is savvy enough to tap it.
