That frustrated me as well. I was starting to trust the site a little, until he made the ‘opinion statement a fact’.
Now I just can’t quite trust them.

I believe this is the same foundation that gave $49+ million to the avowed, unrepentant terrorist William Ayers to essentially radicalize the Chicago public school system. Ayers promptly hired Barack Obama to help him run the project. Go to the http://www.FactCheck.org search page and type in William Ayers Barack Obama. What you find may well dispel any previously held notions of this organization’s objectivity. Despite their pious protestations to the contrary, it appears that FactCheck is less than impartial and their connection to the Obama campaign is less than arm’s length.

I agree that McCain’s campaign used it as a false accusation, and I wish at least they would stop with the hysterics. It would do us all some good.

Just like I thought picking Hillary was his only chance before; I think it’s his only option now. But will his pride let him? Just imagine if he asks her (on the QT, of course), and she refuses but then leaks it!

Another question, considering all that has happened. While Hillary’s pride let her accept?

I somehow doubt the communication department of the Obama campaign, the MSM that is, would be explaining to us what McCain really meant if McCain were to use a watermelon analogy to criticize Obama.

So I fail to see how the pig analogy was harmless and should be ignored. I need smarter people than me to explain the double standard.

What Uh…bama is lacking is some lipstick of his own to pretty up that stupid non-flying pig of a meme that “McCain = Chimpy McBushitler”… No one buys that but the BDS crowd, who are unreachable by Reason, anyway.

Yes, this concerns me a lot. The left has become unhinged in the last eight years and I don’t see them recovering any time soon. No matter who wins will bring out the worst in them. An Obama victory will bring out the demands for vindictive things like war crimes trials and “punishment.” And not just from the nutroots either, this stuff will be from party leaders and congressmen. A McCain victory will bring out four more years of hatred in the media and all up and down Democratic Party lines.

It isn’t going to be pretty. And it won’t be until some adults take over the Democratic Party; the closest thing they have to adults are the Clintons and we all know how well that works.

I don’t let ANYBODY challenge my loyalty to our troops, I used to BE one. If somebody needs to be set straight, then so be it. Sorry if anybody took my question about the S.S. as an insult to Track but that just means you didn’t read it carefully enough and had a knee jerk reaction. I love the fact that other Posters would come to his defense if he were indeed insulted, but anybody who reads the comments on HotAir on any sort of regular basis knows that I’m 100% behind our Troops.

Now,think about if McCain/Palin are elected. Todd will get Secret Service cover which means he’ll be out on their salmon fishing boat with two guys in suits, ties and sunglasses :-) Actually should be great fun for the protection detail — days of salmon fishing and getting paid for it too :-)

Some of us (myself included) do slip up and insert a profanity here and there in an unguarded moment. Then again, most of those who frequnt these parts (excluding the trolls) are not unhinged adolescents.

Profanity is the sauce piquante of conversation: when used sparingly and at the right time it adds zest to a verbal dish.

If too much is used, however, the food becomes unpalatable, and if it is used on food that is already rotten, it will do nothing but make it taste worse.

This explains why Kos, Huffpo and DU act as the garbage can of the political internet.

The Arctic Fox is speaking at the send off of Alaskan troops to Iraq today. (Personally I think cold state troops ought go to Afghanistan) Her son Trap … Trail … Track is on his way over there. Question, does he get Secret Service protection?
