Like it or not. the glaciers and sea ice around Alaska is retreating. Does that mean the earth is still warming or has not started to cool? while the global temputure over the last year has fallen dramacticlly the earth is a big system and the effects of the recent warming are still be felt. It will take a season or two to show the ice getting thicker and the glaciers advancing again. However I thought her answer while not great by my standards would soothe the “middle class environmentalist” while at the same time giving hope to us that think the earth was warming naturally. Of course her statement will only piss off those leftwing nutcases that think man is unnatural and should be killed. Or those rightwing people that think man has nothing to do with the environment.

So on the whole pretty good. I would have no problems fighting polution as long as CO2 is not part of the definition of polution

After listening to the interview between Bill O’Reilly and Obama, I have greater respect for him as an interviewer. I was expecting the same of Charlie Gibson. What a disappointment. Instead of watching three parts, I am done. The interview sounded like an *th grade pop quiz. Shame on Charlie.
