Anyone ask members of AARP what they thought about AGE?

Why bother, the AARP is almost as far Left as Obama.

I missed the memo on why it’s somehow unfair to talk about Maverick’s age, especially now that he’s got a would-be VP with as terrifyingly little experience as, um, Barack Obama.

It is fair, it is just the constant use of it…constant.
No more then after awhile I will say “I get it, he was a community organizer, now move on”.
It just gets tiresome…a real eye roller.

Don’t think time served as a POW POW POW counts as “combat,” Ronnie.

McCain was shot down. That is combat. My grandson was shot after three weeks in Alfghanistan. That is combat. It is not the time in the theater of operations. It is all combat. Would you make the same sacrifice?

Please, do keep up this line of attack – as ‘old’ is no longer what it used to be when the radicals on campus were young. In fact most of them, under what they are pushing, are getting ‘old’. Can’t we get away from these ‘old’ ideas of age? They can’t have it both ways… and citing 72 as ‘old’ is getting damned insulting to a lot of voters in a certain age cohort.

Yes, please do keep citing age.

Smoker. Bad role model. Cancer risk. Early death. Cost society more in insurance costs. Many companies won’t even hire smokers anymore. Restaurants won’t serve them, people shun them. All Dem policies.

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to apply them to Barry, just to be fair, and show no discrimination.

Someone mentioned today that Obama’s father died when he was 46 and his mother when she was 54. Both of natural causes. Obama is 47. Why all the talk about McCain?

Obama’s father did die at age 46, but it wasn’t from natural causes — unless you consider a car crash a natural cause. Obama Sr. was a chronic drunk who had a number of bad crashes in Africa, one in which he lost both his legs, before finally driving into a tree and killing himself.

Obama’s mom died of ovarian cancer. Obama, a longtime cigarette smoker, has so far released only one page of his medical records. (McCain has released something like 1200 pages of his).

First they say that the person who made the jackass comment (Fowler) rejects what she said (she said it/she rejects what she said/huh?), then they try to change the subject, in this case by going after McCain for his age.

The refreshing thing this time around is that I am noticing that more and more people are starting to see this same thing for the shenanigans that they really are, and they are getting seriously pissed at the Democrats.

That right there is reason enough to support McCain.

I think the Democrats are in trouble for a variety of reason, number one being the sorry shape of their party leadership.

Think about it. If Obama wins the four top dogs in the country will be Obama, Biden, Pelosi and Reid.

No wonder McCain is ahead.

Also this week, an ABC News/Washington Post poll reported that when voters are asked “who can bring about needed change to Washington,” McCain still trails Obama by 12 points. But in June, McCain trailed by 32 points.

That shift in the public’s perception of the issues, in Democratic pollster Celinda Lake’s words, “tremendously concerns me.”

What concerns me, Celinda, is that there are still so many people that believe that your candidate Obama is the one who will bring change to Washington when he has no track record of changing anything. I think it’s amazing that Obama still leads on this issue by 12 points.
