Sometimes you just gotta vent, Rebecca. That’s OK. As a Catholic I may not understand Judaism like I should, but I do know that my savior was a faithful, practicing Jew until the moment of his death. What I don’t understand is how any Christian can fail to honor that, although many don’t. They are still stuck on this crap about the Jews killed Jesus – like the Romans (and their penchant for crucifixion) were just innocent bystanders. Happily, that POS meme is dying out – just not fast enough. But I digress…
So why is it that the majority of Jewish voters vote Democrat? It is clearly against the interests of the Jewish state, as you pointed out. I’ve been told, but don’t really understand, that it has to do with guilt. And while I accept that Jews can out-guilt us Catholics, I just don’t see the connection to Democrats (who should feel guilt, but are mostly shameless).

OK, when a guy named Cohen starts working Jesus into his (pseudo-)arguments, you can bet there’s some pandering going on.

But, if Cohen wants to go down that road, here’s another one:

Jesus supported family values and believed that marriage was a sacred relationship between one man and one woman!

Pontius Pilate was the representative of a society that openly endorsed orgies, pedophilia, idolatry, slavery, and then frittered away its wealth purchasing expensive entertainment for the masses in order to buy their loyalty while compromising their security and undermining their freedom.

I admit that I have found no documentary evidence that Pilate was a registered Democrat, but, hey– do the math, guys.

I thought the libs wanted the separation of church and state. The left does everything it can to support taking in God We Trust off of legal tender, prayer out of schools, before school sporting events, the 10 commandments out of court room and offices etc..
