As a former liberal, (I voted for my first Republican in 2004!! and now have the zeal of the converted,) I can honestly say that she could only think that because no Republican guy could get aroused by her. I know this is TMI, but I have had both types, and Conservative men have it hands down in that department. When I was a crazy liberal girl – a wild child – I was always attracted to conservative men. They played sports, they were beautiful, they were brains, they were cool, calm, collected, never lost their heads. They played baseball and hockey. And I clearly recall the many times that I was uncomfortable with a liberal guy; overly emotional – clingy – I hate to stereotype, but that was my experience. I remember seeing the movie “Welcome to the Dollhouse” on a first date with a liberal guy who had long hair, (I HATE long hair on a guy) and he clung to my arm and cringed whenever the girl in the movie was unmercifully teased. It was a comedy, and this guy, while a very nice person, and considered good looking by most, was totally wimpy and turning me off. Needless to say there was no second date. My husband has been a lifelong Republican, and he is the best man I have ever known in all ways possible. So don’t take some dysfunctional nasty-looking, ill-tempered harpie seriously when she disparrages conservative men: she’s full of crap.

OK, I’ll bite……………… what’s so wrong with Bush’s record?

Again, I ask what’s so wrong with Bush’s record? Yes, there have been “policies” that conservatives have “disagreed” with him on, but you throw out the lies, distortions, and propoganda of the left, as we see now going after Gov. Sarah Palin………….. what is wrong with his record?

Come on, DRywall, some examples please, if you can……. and don’t be surprised if what you think is reality is only propoganda from the left.

Maybe this question is too hard……….. just name one, and please, let it be the war in Iraq.

Dave Rywall, Mr. Bush was not responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but he is responsible for assuring that no more have happened. He’s tried to bottle up the terrorists no matter where they live, and he’s done a great job of taking the fight to them. They are fighting us not here in the USA but elsewhere in the world, and they are fighting our soldiers, not our civilians. Since our soldiers are more capable of defending themselves against such attacks than our civilians, the lives of those civilians are less apt to end abruptly.

Bush is not running for President, nor for Vice President. We have Obama and Biden on the one side, and McCain and Palin on the other, and nary a Bush in sight. If you want to talk about Bush, go over to either the DNC site or the BarackObama site and do so. I’m sure they’d welcome your refreshing viewpoint from the Great White North. In fact, why don’t you contribute to the Democrats (who mostly echo your feelings) if you feel so inclined — I’m sure they’d welcome your money! If they don’t, just tell them you are from Canada and have some spare untraceable Adscam cash handy, and I’m sure they’ll reverse course quickly.

I’m a pro door hanger and believe me that is not a guy thing. It is trick of the trade designed to save the customer a ton of money when you are having carpentry work done on your house.

You don’t think that there’re a huge number of folks in San Francisco (to name on egregious example) who would love to set up a speech-muffling HRC clone? You don’t think that the words “white trash vote” don’t dribble from both sides of the mouths of folks in the editorial offices and faculty lounges of papers, newsrooms and colleges right down the street from you? The “exposes” about Ms. Palin all come from the heart of “class warfare” central.

They don’t really hate Mr. Bush (and by extension the lovely Governor) at all…they hate US, who elect them.

Anyway…I’m ready to forgive any nation which could give us “Red Green” and “Corner Gas”…en masse, anyway…individually, I’m less inclined to forgive the morons among them….

CPL. CHRIS “HUDSON” MATTHEWS (red-faced, sweating profusely, and shrieking in terror): That’s it, man! Game over! Obama is toast, man! We’re cooked!

MR. BIDEN (a soulless corporate weasel who has worked for the Company for 35 years, but never accomplished anything): What a disappointment. I really thought Barry could win this one for us. He just kept shooting himself in the foot, over and over again. Then they threw his earmark and experience grenades right back into his face. What a mess.

BRISTOL “NEWT” PALIN (a young pregnant girl sitting quietly on a rock, watching the argument with wide eyes): It’s worse than you think. Polls mostly overestimate Democrat support. (pauses dramatically and bites her lower lip.) Mostly.

(Suddenly, a horde of deranged Canadian feminist magazine writers, discredited network journalists, raving nutroots lunatics, unfunny British comedians, and smug op-ed character assassins comes swarming from the surrounding caves, sewers, coffee shops, and their parents’ basements. (he steeples his fingers and looks smug. Like everyone else in the universe, the oncoming horde of monsters completely ignores him.)

(Just when all seems lost, a huge battle machine steps in front of Bristol. It is made from pieces of Alaskan pipeline, welded to motorcycle parts and polar bear skins. There are twin 30-06 hunting rifles attached to the arms, and a barracuda spray-painted on the chest armor.)
