Seriously, I don’t believe (as Biden does) that life begins at conception; but if I did, how is my question above different than his? Since you approve of X, you must approve of killing humans in order to promote X… really?

I mean, I like cake, but I’m not killing anyone for… well maybe a fudge/ice-cream layer cake; but it’d have to be someone I dislike already too.

If he did, the democrats would be harvesting dead babies for their stem cells. It is inconceivable that democrats would try to elect a pair of complete losers as these two.

Republicans DO support stem-cell research, using ADULT cells. That’s so we don’t have to kill babies in order to do research Senator Biden, which might be a concept above your pay grade.

I’ve read that almost all of the breakthoughs with stem cells involve adult ones. Embryonic stem cells are too undifferentiated and have a tendency to form tumors.

Then a follow up IF he says i accept that life begins at Conception…

Then why, did vote against defining unborn child as eligible for SCHIP? and also why did vote against a criminal penalty for harming unborn fetus during other crime?

If it’s a life at conception, i asked when does it get Human Rights?

Just so you know, our medical doctors are being taught in human embryology that human development, human life, begins at conception (and, yes, it is a process).

Science states when human life begins. Those who use myths and even religion to justifiy their position are, for the most part, those who support choice or abortion; which is one and the same in my book.

The argument has never been when life begins, that was learned long before, but the argument has truly always been about what we afford that new human life.

Catholic Biden is the ultimate oxymoron. Those of us opposed to embryonic stem cell use have an important point of view to be respected — particularly in light of very promising stem cell research that does not require the killing of human embryos. There is so much effort in making these embryo killings a casual, everyday occurrence, why? (And regrettably, there is no law against the practice, just a Bush policy to not provide funds from US taxpayers on new embryo destruction.) This is such a callous, empty, and uncaring posture toward the miracle of life.
