I don’t trust em! I don’t care how many articles come out.

I’ve seen the lefty smears spoken as fact on some moderate boards and they are in full throttle with their belief in the misinformation.

The laughable part is they quote and link articles such as stinkprogress, etal for accuracy!

Fight the good fight my fellow Conservatives, get the truth out there and let’s win come November.

I can see the Dems asking Palin if she is considering having any more children if McCain wins the White House. You know, pregnant on duty, cravings for pickles and ice cream during a nuclear crisis, that sort of thing.
Those surprised that the New York Times can put out a ‘fair and balanced’ article on Palin would be wise to remember that the NY Times endorsed McCain; I believe that they considered McCain the easiest pushover for Hillary Clinton.
The NY Times may continue to be published, but it lost relevancy years ago. Put the Times article on the same level as Biden’s comment on Palin’s looks.

This is, a another poster said, all about money. The NYT can’t afford to lose more readers. And with Palin’s popularity and Obama’s slide in the polls, they are now going to play both sides of the fence. They were able to get away with their past bias against Bush, thanks to the unpopularity of the war and the stupid Dem whining about being robbed in the elections. Now they have to face the fact that this Repub ticket is more popular and the NYT will tag along, although maybe from a distance.

NY Slimes is just sandbagging – their usual M.O. of printing all the smears, lies and innuendos about conservatives they can invent is in their DNA. It’s definitely about PR and establishing a supposed posture of “balanced reporting” for the NYT as they prepare for an October onslaught.

The reality is, that before the rise of the Lipstick Pitbull, the leftie retards truly thought, that they are in the majority….

The difference between then and now, my friends, is what the influence of true leadership has on the masses….

..everybody wants to be connected to and identified with the winning leadership model..

Sarah Palin, will, for all times forward, put into motion a brand of winning leadership, that will forever be a beacon and light, for others to follow….

… and that is something the NYT is not willing to bet against.

Have you had a moment to read the New York Times article discussing the birth of Palin’s son, Trig? Personally, I think the title of the article is misleading as the story really isn’t about Politics; it’s about Sarah as a mother.

We need to be careful when bestowing praise to the NYT. The reality is that it would be very difficult to be unsympathetic to any family with a special needs child absent of abuse and they know that. I hate to be so cynical but this will be one of the stories that is used to calculate how fair and balanced to the candidate they have been.

Perhaps the Times has decided to try favorable reporting in an attempt to stop O! ‘s electoral slide.

The same nincompoops who believe that there is same amount of drillable oil available under every acre the feds lease, may also believe that just as Glibama’s numbers fell while they attacked palin viciosly, so too will they rise if they praise her effusively…

A real bunch of rocket scientists there…

I must say that as a grandfather and a father of both girls (women) and boys (men) I was in tears watching a video of Piper Palin at the GOP Convention on Lucianne.com. Just from that alone I would have a difficult time believing that Sarah Palin does not spend the requisite time with her children.
An aside here. Whatever happened to the feminist “quality time” as opposed to quantity of time argument? Seems to have gone the same way that most ideas on the Left. No longer applicable.

I have a 2 year old with down syndrome. My reaction at his birth was shock and horror (we were one of the "no amniocentisis" crowd mentioned in this article). I now regret a lot of the things I felt and said, since my son is a real delight of a kid. I'd say 99% of DS parents go through that period of anger and mourning. What's important is that they eventually get over it (some never do, tragically). The Palins have faced their fears with courage, and good on them. If they are anything like us, having Piper is a big help, because little kids that age don't even register that he's any different and truly celebrate. My 4 year old's reaction to my son was pure joy. All this talk about Trig being Bristol's baby is just stupid. What's easier (a la Occam's razor) - pretending to carry your daughter's unborn down syndrome baby, or just taking a dark of night trip to Anchorage planned parenthood, taking the route 92% of people choose? I can only hope that more DS babies are given the chance to be born because people see the VP with Trig and think "If they can do it, so can I." They are not destined to be rocket scientists, but they are still human beings with personalities that can enrich society. See Beltway guy Rich Lowry's recent experience for an example.

In a recent survey you said that you would support abstinence-until-marriage education but that you would not support explicit sex-ed programs. What are explicit sex-ed programs, and does that include talking about condoms in school?

Palin’s answer:

No, I don’t think that it includes something that is relatively benign. Explicit means explicit. No, I am pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I’m not anti-contraception. But yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don’t have a problem with that. That doesn’t scare me, so it’s something that I would support also.

That’s the snide way of diminishing her importance. Another reason feminists should be upset but won’t.
She is a Governor, that title should proceed her in all stories about her.
And it is Rev. Jackson, after that intro most say Jessie, but then Jackson is one of the most known of all politicians.
Back to the issue…when formally introducing her in a story it is Governor, that is why they never say president Bush it is always Bush. It is to ignore their position of power and influence.

I could feel my own eyes rolling while I read the NYT article; First thing I thought of was a big kiss up to try and get in there for a hit piece. I’m hoping that McCains group is well aware of who to offer “limited” trust to- I think Charlie Gibson was a good first choice. You know Diane Sawyer would have been nasty.
