Agree, unless there is something more substantial to the claim other than near proximity, such as possible Alaska ANG dealings with airspace breaches as the other poster mentioned.

Funny how a pale face with more experience at actually running something and getting things done seems to miss the nod from Condi. I wonder what attribute Obama and Condi have in common that a pale face lacks since being a fellow Republican and a woman don’t seem to count.

I disagree, I have been to Alaska, Canada, and the Can/Am highway many times.

Canada is our weird lib cousin, but there is a relatively easy path there.

The only reason it is a “island” is southlanders who take her for granted because Alaskans silently bust their asses to feed this nation fish and fuel.

sven, Alaska also has a actual Militia. In which the Federal Government DOES pay for. It is small but real. National Guard isn’t the only thing taking care of Alaska.

I have talked to every one I know both Democrat and republican. I have yet to even sense the slightest reservation about Governor Palin from a Republican.

And only two of the Dems haven’t jumped ship, YET.

Actually, the Alaskan State Government, with Palin as its executive, DID have to deal with the Russians, the Japanese and more nations as a part of the management of the Bering Sea and coastal fisheries. The Alaskan fisheries are nothing to laugh at from a food policy perspective as well as financially.

Exactly what I have been saying for weeks. This is what they are holding back, it will come out in the debates. I think the Dems are in for a shock when they find out how much international real experience she has. The Gov of Hawaii hinted at it the other day.

Alaska is our first line of defense, missile and interceptors against Russia. Word is she has been briefed at the highest levels of security, higher then any other governor.
I think during the debates you may find out how much she does know about military security.
You don’t think she knows about those Russian “trawlers”??
