The Dems are upset about Palin because Lieberman was their choice (yes they wanted to destroy the Republican party and ensure Obama’s victory). It was a great head fake by McCain to keep everyone talking about Lieberman (and Pawlenty and Romney) then springing Palin on them as a total surprise.

Axelrod: Well, first of all, I want to say this, Chris. Senator McCain on the biggest decision that he’ll ever make, uh, in public life, which is the choice of a vice-presidential nominee, decided not to go up against his own party and was told he couldn’t pick the person he thought was the best choice, and he went with Governor Palin instead. So I think that’s important to know.

So it’s not OK to go against your party sometimes, you have to do it on “the biggest decision that he’ll ever make” as well? WOW!!

Funny, I was watching it before church and the first thing I said was “Hitler.”
However, I was furious at Chris Wallace for letting that jerk go on and on and on about Sarah etc., and never, never answer the question. He never lets the repubs go on without interruption.
We need this behind the scenes jerk out in front all the time, so we can see who hussein associates with.

This weasel filibustered the entire interview. I normally find Wallace’s interviews excellent, but he did not hold Axelrod’s feet to the fire this time.

The reform for which Obama takes credit is crap. Forbids accepting lunch unless you are campaigning, and does not prohibit accepting flights from lobbyists.

Of course it passed by unanimous consent.

Give me a break. In the race to get superdelegates, Obama was buying them left and right. http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/02/15/buying-superdelegates/ He was also making large contributions to the respective state Democratic parties during the primary.

It may have been legal, but it is far from ethical.

I suppose that’s Obama’s way of rolling out “Etihcs Reform You Can Believe In.”
