Har-dee-har…I bet Sarah thinks it’s funny.

Christine on September 7, 2008 at 11:49 AM

I was just looking at the political cartoons. Similar “kill things” theme there. So are rather obnoxious.
Although there is a nifty one with a pile of bodies on the convention floor and her looking down at the bloody sword in her hand saying “Darn, broke a nail.”

“Now Sarah faces the biggest challenge in her life…not involving wolves”

pretty good.

Yep, but look out…

Cause now she’s hunting bigger game… Media…

Romeo13 on September 7, 2008 at 11:50 AM

Ah, “Some are rather obnoxious.”

Count to 10 on September 7, 2008 at 11:51 AM

Fun stuff. Ridiculous and funny, still this meme of Sarah as wild woman of the west will only endear her to the American people–maybe not the ultra liberal pansies, but they would never vote Republican anyway.

BryanS on September 7, 2008 at 11:52 AM

Everyone of these “entertainers” had better be careful; we are already sick of their ultra Liberal views. Make fun of Sarah all you want you Liberal nutters, but you had better do the same with Obama.

“Fair” we can deal with; “balanced” it had better be!

Keemo on September 7, 2008 at 11:52 AM

They just keep making me love her even more.

TheSitRep on September 7, 2008 at 11:52 AM

Does this show have a similar spoof on Obama or are they afraid of offending someone?

Bishop on September 7, 2008 at 11:54 AM

Absolutey, This is a multi-million dollar ad for McCain/Palin08.

Cost Zero!

Cost Zero, get it?

TheSitRep on September 7, 2008 at 11:54 AM

I thought it was hilarious. If it was an attempt to denigrate her, it was do over-the-top that it failed miserable.

The part with her drinking fresh reindeer blood makes me want to vote for her even more.

MadisonConservative on September 7, 2008 at 11:55 AM

In San Francisco, they think this is serious and wonder why the audience is laughing.

TheSitRep on September 7, 2008 at 11:52 AM

BINGO! If the video was meant to turn people off it will have the opposite effect, due in no small part to the fact that she is so physically attractive. Arctic Fox, indeed.

The best line in the whole thing is Jimmy Kimmel’s throwaway line at the end of the video: “She didn’t kill anything that didn’t need killing.”

ManlyRash on September 7, 2008 at 11:57 AM

Oh, and BTW: Anybody noticing how the ultra Liberal Oprah is doing with her refusal to interview Sarah. Just watch as Oprah loses big time with this show of biased behavior. In the tank for Obama, and no buddy is going to force the white girl on Oprah.

As has been stated at HA on numerous occasions, the racism on display with Democrats no longer wears a mask.

I’m not so sure about Jimmy Kimmel. I watched him when he was on Ben Stein’s show and then followed his career afterward. Something tells me Kimmel is closet conservative.

Palin thinks and acts locally. She’s organic. Isn’t that was they want?

lorien1973 on September 7, 2008 at 12:00 PM

I read somewhere else that one of the Governor’s Alaska opponents described her position on energy exploration as “cut, kill, dig and drill.” He didn’t mean it as a compliment but I thought it might actually be a fairly workable campaign slogan.

Bennett on September 7, 2008 at 12:00 PM

ManlyRash on September 7, 2008 at 11:59 AM

Kimmel isn’t very political, as far as I can tell. He’d probably fall best under libertarian, based upon what I’ve seen on him.

I love Sarah and I thought that was funny.

I was hoping SNL and Mad TV would have good stuff this week, but they are still in reruns. Granted, it is hit and miss with those guys, but I would ask Mad TV consider Bobby Lee in the role of the explorer of the fever swamps, Andrew “Dr. Livingston I presume” Sullivan.

They got the trout fishing degree wrong, it should say “Sarah Heath” not “Palin” as she hadn’t caught her Eskimo in a bear trap at that point. :)

digitalintrigue on September 7, 2008 at 12:12 PM

I would like to know more about the guns she owns and some of her favorite ammo.
I would also like to know if she hunts like lurch and crawls on her belly with her trusty shotgun to kill and maim these moose.

John Doe on September 7, 2008 at 12:12 PM

In case anyone is interested, there is a good roundup of political cartoons at http://cagle.msnbc.com/
Beware, though: only about three of the artists there could be considered conservative, and the rest have really gone around the bend for the Dems.

Marines for Mccain on September 7, 2008 at 12:12 PM

I thought it was mostly funny. Makes me like Sarah even more. I bet if the media hounded her, all she’d have to do is give them a look and take one step toward them and they’d fall backward over each other. She is indeed Wonder Woman.

Mostly funny, but it trended a little bitter toward the end, I thought, starting with the baby seal clubbing.

We love Sarah-like women — intelligent, attractive, competitive, competent, strong can-do wizards. Winners, not whiners. Winners, not victims. Thatchers, not Steinems.

I go to our farmers’ market here, but didn’t realize til only recently there was an actual “word” for it.

tru2tx on September 7, 2008 at 12:37 PM

That’s hilarious!

In a saner world than ‘08, one could both laugh at and admire public figures all at once. Shame the Dems had to kill that.

John Kerry was a good example of a candidate too frighteningly awful to derive any amusement from. Osama Obama is even worse.

Maybe slap him on some country-styule dinner table with a happy Michigan family gathered ’round. Forks & knives at the ready. Ho ho ho!!! Sure, it would be a little crass, but hey, it’s all in good fun. The Left loathes us, but that’s okay. The feeling’s mutual.

ManlyRash on September 7, 2008 at 11:59 AM

Kimmel’s good buddy Adam Carolla from their cable collaboration The Man Show is reportedly one of the closet conservatives who attended a recent Hollywood fundraiser for McCain.

I’ve been following the careers of Kimmel and Carolla since their big break on the Kevin and Bean morning radio show on the World Famous KROQ. I don’t know Kimmel’s political affiliation, but I can assure you he is no liberal. Brit Hume uses Kimmel’s hilarious video clips frequently to close his Special Report program.

Kevin and Bean also launched the careers of former MTV VJ Kennedy Montgomery, a GOP-leaning libertarian whose schtick while on their show was her very real crush on Dan Quayle, and the parody artist known as Richard Cheese.

ManlyRash on September 7, 2008 at 1:22 PM

I laughed good and hard when I saw this. That’s the difference between us and the libs. They have no sense of humor or healthy perspective. It’s all doom and gloom and if anything close to this had run spoofing Obama they’d be trying to get the Kimmel’s show off the air. They are so insecure in their beliefs (because deep down they know they’re wrong) that they cannot laugh at themselves.

I can tell you, as a hunter, she’d hate that video as much as I do.

Good hunters have the greatest respect for the animals they harvest. Their greatest disappointment, greatest shame, is to make a mistake that makes the animal suffer for any significant length of time.

She’d hate that video. Any real hunter never thinks like that. Idiots think like that.

Perhaps this is because I often like to mention my “love for clubbing seals” as a button pushing comment when dealing with libs and people with no sense of humor. It’s becomes something of a trademark for me. In the virtual world of Second Life, I even made a pet seal I named “Clubby” that walks are with me, anything for a laugh.
