Today, I’m still recovering from my hosting of radio giant Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson, and the contractors have already started doing the heavy repair work, so we’ll have to go with a repeat of yesterday’s review of Sarah Palin’s speech, with Duane at the Republican Convention. I had a blast on this show, and I think it might be one of my favorites*:

I’ll also open the chat room, for those who want to talk about the convention, the polls, or the weather:

I’ve got more video left to post from the convention, so keep checking back.

I wonder if Barack HUSSEIN Obama (PBUH)(SAW)(SWT) would support a “surge” into his home town Chicago, now that DOUBLE the number of Americans have been shot to death in Chicago, between Memorial Day & Labor Day this year, than the number of American troops killed in the same time frame in Iraq!

Where is the OUTRAGE on the Left, over the American death’s in …..Chicago???

Oh, yeah, that’s right, there isn’t any…..

Sorry I asked….

Dale in Atlanta on September 5, 2008 at 3:04 PM

Dale in Atlanta,

No, he won’t support a surge in Chicago. He and Mayor Daley will say that all of their gun control laws aren’t enough, and, obviously, Chicago needs more gun control laws.

How could Oprey support him after the mess he and his cohorts have let Chicago become?

I wonder if this means, according the Obama (PBUH) meme, that the Government of Chicago has refused to “take responsibility” for ….Chicago??/

Dale in Atlanta on September 5, 2008 at 3:18 PM

It also probably means, there is “no political reconciliation” in Chicago as well, correct? I mean these high levels of violence, that’s what it all means, correct?

Dale in Atlanta on September 5, 2008 at 3:19 PM

I would like to start a Petition, to have the United States Government “withdraw”, in retreat, from Chicago; the levels of violence are too high; obviously, we have some time of “Civil War”, or “insurgency” ongoing there, and since there is no “acceptance of responsibility” on the part of the Government of Chicago, nor any “political reconciliation” in Chicago, the only option to is for the Government of the United States to “withdraw”, or better yet, “strategically redeploy to Okinawa”, from Chicago, in shame and defeat!

Man, IF the McCain campaign had the “gonads” couldn’t they make a SERIOUS commercial about this?

How about a petition to demand a surge in Chicago? Maybe BO and Greasy Joe will get this one right.

You know, I took with a grain of salt all of the comments by conservatives that the left and left media were afraid of Governor Palin, however, after taking some time and reading some comments under various stories in reference to the Governor, I am convinced that they are scared silly by this woman. They are trying to destroy her with some of the most inane comments and half truths that I have ever seen. Their reaction is astonishing.

They will take any rumor and run with it. I am sorry, I don’t care who you are or the size of the community you come from, if you have run for any public office, and won, you are going to have enemies who are going to write or say bad things about you, no matter how trivial. What is funny, is to watch the rabid left try to make something out of them.

McCain did good. He has gotten the left to reveal themselves to America.

I love this lady and this ticket. Here’s is why:

-They are not lawyers.
-The lower half is a business owner
-They both practice what they preach (and I am for choice)

Lower tax, less gov’t, and security. When McCain announced Palin, I donated immediately. I had never donated to a presidential campaign before.

Last item: As good as Sarah’s style and speech was, Fred Thompson had a poignant line that night. It would be nice to have it clipped and showing:

Now, our opponents tell us not to worry about their tax increases. They tell you they’re not going to tax your family. No, they’re just going to tax “businesses.” So, unless you buy something from a business, like groceries or clothes or gasoline — (laughter) — or unless you get a paycheck from a business, a big business or a small business, don’t worry, it’s not going to affect you! They say they’re not going to take any water out of your side of the bucket, just the other side of the bucket! That’s their idea of tax reform.

Dale in Atlanta,

I liked all of your comments.

cjs1943 on September 5, 2008 at 4:57 PM

Duane’s right, Obama allowed the media to attack Palin until he saw it wasn’t working. That was three day! Then he tried to play the magnanimous card with his “forceful statement.”

right on Dale
