Now I’m curious. Does anyone have a good idea of how much, if at all, Ferroro was attacked by Republicans in sexist ways? I’m ignorant on this score. Can it compare favorably to the Democrats the past weak?

In America, black men could vote over 100 years before women could vote. These women make good points.

I am a conservative woman, but I admired Hillary Clinton and I was angry at how she was treated during the primary season. I even sent her some money as I wanted to support her somehow, even though I probably would not have voted for her. Now, I see a conservative woman being beaten up by the press, by the bloggers, by magazines, newspapers, etc. and I am no longer just angry, I am furious.

If the media and the left succeeded in driving Palin from the race, they are entirely RIGHT that the parties wouldn’t nominate ANY women in the near future for the top of the ticket. It’s not a mystery why we haven’t seen a real female contender before Hillary since Ferraro. Twenty four years, folks. And it’s untrue that there haven’t been women qualified to hold the position/s, on either side of the aisle.

Their point is valid. It could easily be argued that it’s not the most important reason to vote someone into high office, but you cannot argue that they’re blowing irrational smoke.

I think that the DNC are morons for ignoring folks with this point of view. They handled the Hillary situation BADLY.

Never underestimate the power of a pissed off woman.

However, the leadership which advocates the Defeat of the country in ANY war, thru withdrawal or capitulation, is an ENEMY of the country. That isn’t just a difference of opinion where our security is concerned. You are either for Victory in war, or you accept Defeat.

Dhimmicrats will not lift a finger to change our true enemies’ mindset and motivations. That makes them one with our enemies. Some things are not negotiable with a terrorist enemy. Like these two ladies lives, and my family’s lives.

What well spoken and articulate young ladies these two are! Thank you for your clear and civilized opinions, ladies. You are welcome at the debate table anytime, anywhere in the Republican party.

They’re not “Hillary” supporters, they’re sexists. “Hillary” is a liberal democrat. Palin is a conservative Republican. But these two morons only see “woman.”

I know, I know. But it stings. We’re the party of superior ideas about governing, stemming from the use of our god-given brains. I just cannot stand this identity politics bullcrap, and what it’s doing to my country, and that we have to make common-cause with fools like those two in the video. JiangxiDad, It’s not just “practical,” but also one way many people come to conservatism. Not everyone was born into a conservative family and grew up only around conservatives.

The saying goes, “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. The Party left me.” This takes years to occur for many. Sometimes it takes the “shock” of perceiving a “betrayal” of sorts.

In any case, these two women, at 50 and 61, may just now be coming to the point of such a “change/growth” and IMO shouldn’t necessarily be criticized for it, but encouraged to share their perspective (sure, maybe it’s temporary and they’ll go back to being “liberals” at some future point, but one never knows) … and for more than just the immediate purpose of electing McCain/The Glasses in ’08!

There may be more of these about than one would think. And they are a viable source of votes, and a potential source of new conservatives, after they get over the shock of the label.

And by the way, “kick ‘em to the curb” is no way to make them feel welcome and to have them stick around long enough to get past the cognitive dissonance and realize that they really are conservatives. And this race is not won yet. We need all the help we can get. Come on, page two!

The Media is basically the 4th branch of the government, the branch that interacts with the people everyday and that gives us our information, the media has been giving nothing but negative propaganda for 8 years, trying to break our spirits, screaming about little setbacks from the rooftops and on the front pages and in the headlines, and all of our successes and good deeds have been hidden on page 39 and just scarcely mentioned if at all… the media has an agenda and it needs to be corrected.

Washington needs an enema and so does the Media.

just get on board with McCain/Palin and enjoy the ride..

Then you can slam the nutroots and media for the next 4 years for being in the tank for Obama.

The media needs to pay a price for the bias.
