I would’ve settled for a base hit–hell, even a sac fly would’ve moved the runner along–but you’re right, it was more of a triple. Not a home run by any means, but it certainly cleared the bases.

I sent the following email to Fox & Friends in response to their question of the day, has the media been biased against Palin:

good morning.

compared to the DNCC coverage last week, the RNC is getting far less of it:

BET had primetime coverage of the DNCC;

TV One had primetime coverage of the DNCC;

ALL of the Spanish networks had primetime coverage of the DNCC.

NONE of these stations is carrying any coverage of the RNC.

Also, CNN for a few hours on Monday had a ‘Breaking News’ banner on screen of Gov. Palin’s 17-year-old’s daughter pregnancy. I don’t see how that’s breaking news.

Brian K. read it on the air but said, in all fairness there was a hurrican that hit Monday.

What I should have mentioned is that I checked the scheduling for Monday. BET was showing the BET Awards, and all of the Spanish stations were showing regular programming that night. Tuesday, the same. Wednesday, ditto. Thursday, ditto again with the exception of Univision, owned by GE, which showed Sen. McCain’s speech only.

When I had heard his speech reached more people than Hussein’s, I was thrilled.

How nice. McCain’s speech was watched by more people. It’s a shame we don’t spend the time to read what he said and critique that. Most have lost all objectivity by saying, “it doesn’t matter what he’s said or done. He’s better than Obama.”

McCain needs to just shut up. If he gets elected, it will be because of palin and nothing he stands for. Every time he opens his mouth, he just reinforces that he is as liberal as Obama on most issues. Palin could beat either of them because she represents the people instead of them feeding their own inflated egos. Palin can remove the smell when conservatives hold their noses when they have no choice but to pull the lever for McCain.

I think that after watching Gov Palin, the word spread and more people tuned in to see if they could see who she was, and how she dressed. You laugh, but women don’t, about how they dress.
