”Hunters from the villages of Point Hope and Kivalina are suspected of massacring more than 100 caribou and leaving at least half of them to rot on the tundra earlier this month, according to Alaska Wildlife Troopers.

Calves were left stranded, some still trying to suckle milk from the decomposing cows two weeks after the slaughter.”

That depends on what you mean by “equal pay for equal work”.

Law suits can be filed against an employer when pay or employment are affected by discrimination. No change is needed, though the suit must be filed quickly.

Liberals want laws and a bureaucracy to review what people are paid. This would give them enormous power, and damage the economy.

From today’s Washington Post:

The family still lives in Wasilla most of the time, in an airy wood-frame house on the shore of Lake Lucille, upscale by Alaskan standards. The governor’s mansion in Juneau, the state capital, is home only when the legislature is in session, and even then to only some of the family. The Palins enrolled the two youngest girls in Juneau schools, but Bristol went mid-school-year to live with her aunt in Anchorage, finishing at the city’s West High School.

According to this article, Bristol was under the supervision of an aunt in Anchorage while the rest of the family was in Juneau.

The criticisms of Sarah Palin for not being a good mother based on Bristol’s pregnancy should be limited to trusting an aunt to watch over her daughter as well as she would while the rest of the family was in Juneau.
