Of course they’re playing games with this quote. It’s crystal clear what she meant, and it’s not that our troops are on a mission from God. Her point is that she hoped we’re doing the right thing regarding whatever God’s plan is, which to her nobody can truly know. uh-duh.

however, even had she said what they are accusing her of, I don’t care one bit. She’s entitled to her opinion either way.
