Ralph this may shock you but the Presidency is 99.95% about foreign policy and treaty negotiation…..I know I know…radical idea but I read this little thing over at http://www.usconstitution.gov that explained it all.

Turns out the office is not the post of “national daddy” or “faith healer and ocean fixer”.

The President is a check on legislative excess, and the generator of new judges….nothing more, often less.

In the next few days there will be miles of drivel in the mainstream media attempting to explain the attraction that Americans feel toward Sarah Palin.

Most of it will be steeped in a barrage of psychobabble, indicative of the hopeless disconnect between journalistic-urbania and working class-suburbia.

Let me summarize the real source of her appeal in a very succinct effort:

Conservative strength derived from an absolute refusal to play the Liberal female stereotype of an inherent perpetual victim.

Who can picture Gov. Palin sobbing with her head in hand exclaiming “Why me? Why Me?”

Now how effortless is it to vividly imagine her looking into the distance with steel-eyed determination and stating “Okay- I’ll FIND a way!”

Sarah Palin is a gift. I absolutely adore her. She has done more to instill fear in the uber-left media whores and celeb freaks and their “worshipers” in the past five days than anyone since Ronald Reagan. She’s their worst nightmare, and the best part is, the more they feel the need to destroy her, the stronger her support from those sane Americans who recognize a true leader: someone who doesn’t just talk the talk, but has walked the walk. This woman is for real folks. I actually gave money to a campaign for the first time in my life. I’ll probably get a yard sign and some buttons too. She is exactly what we need right now, and I am starting to smell victory in November. Nobody McCain could have chosen would have inspired such support from the base or instilled such fear from the opposition. She speaks for me and others who are tired of having this liberal crap rammed down our throats and and being told it’s good for us.

Sure Sarah is a beauty and a wonderful campaigner, but when America gets a good look at her drool-worthy husband and son in law, adorable daughters and precious little baby, there will be few who will have the guts to go after her. Of course the Mediacrats will do Obama’s dirty work, but personally he’ll have nothing to say. When it comes to celebrity visuals, this family has it in spades, and it will work wonders for the ticket.

Not like I care about alphie, really, but I love reading when y’all attack him like the flea he really is.

And to this nonbelieving, socially-not-that-conservative, military vet/wife/mother of three from Small Town America – I’m in love with Sarah Palin. So is my husband. She is not fringe, her family is like ours: not perfect. She has done more for me personally in the last 5-6 days than anybody else – she has given me optimism and hope for the future, and faith in the political process again. The Dems, the media, not even the silly little trolls, I will not let any of them take that feeling from me.

Well Alphie, I am a libertarian and an atheist. The only thing I can say is that Palin appeals to me more than any other candidate running for president or VP in this election. She is certainly superior to the ridiculous Mr. Obama and his teenage girl sensibilities in every way.

Before this pick I was not going to vote but now I will be pulling the lever for Palin.

I checked out Morning Joe and listened to Chris Mathews and Tom Brokaw and Andrea M.
They seem to think our girl Sarah is great now. Maybe they just needed a good nights sleep or some time away from Olby.
