Just to reprise what another poster said some time ago:
Obama– Looking for Daddy in all the wrong places.

Too subtle for a bumper sticker I expect.

If we're going to reprise, let's morph the Reagan-era lib bumper sticker:

I know Watt's wrong into

Wright is wrong

As I laid in bed last night watching Benjamin Martin, in the Patriot, discover the weakness of Lord Cornwallis- I could not help but think of McCain and Obama.

Pride really does goeth before the fall- just ask Barack Obama.

Spengler writes:

Obama is the most talented and persuasive politician of his generation, the intellectual superior of all his competitors, but a fatally insecure personality

He still has issues concerning his own identity, which is not "society's" problem, it's HIS problem, issues a 40 something year old man should have resolved long ago. Thin-skinned, race-conscious, still seeking a father role model, tries to be all things to all people, thrives on the adoration of others, the list goes on and on. In shorthand, he's a narcissistic personality. Besides that he hasn't really done anything besides, as Newt said, spoken and written.

McCain needs a slogan for his economic plan. Obama has "the change we need," or "the change _____ needs" where ___ could be any subgroup.

Bush had "a reformer with results." Clinton had "a bridge to the 21st century."

Anyone have a slogan idea?

How about "Through difficult waters to a new dawn." ?

coldwarrior -

I’m just not all that comfortable about having nearly half of the country so willing and ready to elect this guy based on nothing but what Obama told them.

I completely agree.

My best guess as to what would set off Obama face to face would be in a debate setting. Someone proves Obama is wrong about something, then calls him "stupid" or "evil."

This should have been the lineup for last night

Ann Coulter leads off doing 15 minutes on why MSNBC is infilatrated by Commies
Michelle Malkin
interlude where a liberal anarchist is beheaded or somebody beats up Chris Mathews
Short film on ACORN sponsored BO community organizing job
Jackie Mason
Mark Levin
then maybe 30 minutes of John Mcain

Forty minutes of soaring oratory and awe inspiring thought and empathy; followed by more than five minutes of mind bending, ear shattering, applause, shouting and good olde fashioned up country hootenanny…!

Good on you Johnny Mc’…!

If I heard the word “change” once, I heard it thirty one times…?

Good Lord knows, that’s something that’s definitely required, Senator McCain.

Getting the Senator ten feet closer to the teleprompter with that “model’s runway” allowed easier reading for him, that minor physical change really allowed the Senator’s personality to soar.

We all saw the real McCain yesterday evening…!

Go John…
Go Sarah…
Go Republicans…!

The subject of Bone Sucking is something I have never studied, as I am a vegetarian and therefore do not eat meat.

However, as near as I can tell, some Hot Air posters are culinary experts, into competitive BBQ's and recipe trading. So, I imagine you may have stumbled upon some bragging or even argument over who has the best BBQ sauces. While I cannot vouch for the taste of the interlocutors in question, a simple Google search of "Bone Sucking Sauce" results in several recipes, including southern and teriyaki styles.

I didn't realize that David Blaine was an anti-war nutty protestor. Funny how C-Span and PBS gave him close to thirty seconds of air time, I believe Fox News only showed him for a second.

Why are the networks showing them at all, maybe to provide context for McCain having to pause but it should be like people who run onto fields at sporting events.

Amazing how these people can get into these events. The two code pinko nuts got in Wednesday night by asking someone who was leaving for their pass, is this the kind of security we want at a Convention???

It does. Thank you.

Now maybe you can assuage my concern on this small matter.

First intelligent thing you have said…ever. Good work, canuck. Here’s an AMERICAN bone. Suck on it. Suck it long and suck it hard.

Canuck usage and examples link from Wikipedia

Perhaps, in honor of Governor Palin, Hockey Mom, the reference was to the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.

Or perhaps, in deference to Allahpundit, the reference was to Team Canuck, a Canadian team in Robocup competition, irregardless of whether any of these teams are in the Humping Class, which I take to be a technical term.

What does McCain have against partisan politics? Dopes he prefer we have a one-party state?

Why do I always have the feeling that he's rather clueless about many things?

And why the jabs at Republicans? he's taken in a hundred million dollars of money from us Republicans and hundreds of thousands of man-hours of hard work by volunteers. Now he's at the damn Republican National Convention and sticking it at the Republican Party. I want my two grand back, you old prick!

It's like having someone come into your living room, complain about the decor and then crap on the couch..

Isn’t “canuck” to Canadians the equivalent of what the “N word” is to African Americans? Are people allowed to comment here who do that?

You can't be serious. It's like calling an American a "Yank" or someone from New Zealand a "Kiwi."
