Excellent.

One’s career path matters when one is running for the Presidency as one is who one chooses for one’s associates. And, just as important in this age of jihad, Commander-in-Chief. I know I don’t like Obama’s choice for the sweetest sound heard at sunset and what that choice portends for our country’s long-term security. I fear him nominating Supreme Court justices (with a Dem Congress) just as much as I fear for our military with him as Commander-in-Chief; if something as serious as 9/11 were to occur, he’ll either do nothing or completely over-react. With our Barry, there’s no middle ground.

I am so sick and tired of the media building this man up. Gov. Palin is giving EgObama the jitters, it really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The way he is whining he isn’t ready to stand up to and meet head on the likes of Putin, he will crack… and that scares the hell out of me. My trust is in McCain to handle that while Palin offers to take Putin on a hunting challenge with that smile she has as she is ready to move in for the kill. haha

I still want to know about the Annenburg Files and his Transcripts from Columbia.

The average person can’t help but compare and contrast… he is no longer the fresh faced cherub, next to the old tried politicians… Hillary, then McCain. He’s familiar. And he looks tired. And angry.

Many of us have always seen him as angry… but “undecideds” are automatically going to have a different subliminal take on the guy, when compared to the vibrant Republican star. It’s going to hurt and hurt bad.

I must say that I enjoyed that post!

Forget get the PR “I co-sponsored” a bill records because co-sponsors have noting to do with the drafting and language of a bill but just decide after reading it they will jump on board. There is no “accomplishment” doing that.

Then he get hit with comparing her accomplishments to his by the reporter and he throws back at the reporter by stating it is not Gov. Palin he is running against, but Sen. McCain. I guess Sen. Obama forgot WHO brought up comparing his accomplishments to Gov. Palin or is Sen. Obama short term memory completely shot now?

Okay, I followed those particular stories you posted as guest blogger there :)

I find it interesting that so many of the candidates running for the Democratic nomination ran for the Senate purely as a stepping stone to run for President. (Hillary, Edwards, and Obama: all 3 were clearly not interested in serving as Senator) Their own ambition to reach the Presidency with thin experience seems to be helping the presidency to stay in Republican hands.

Kind of reminds me of Pat Robertson who jumped into politics by running for the Leader of the Free World. You would think he would have tried to start as Representative or Senator, preferably at the state level.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, has really started at the bottom and worked her way up: PTA, City Council, Mayor, executive branch of Alaska government, then governor.

There’s way too much hype around about Sarah Palin right now, but even her detractors ought to admit she’s had an impressive career up to this point. How many times does someone run for governor against an incumbent from their own party, and win?

Well, since Obama is gaining presidential experience while he’s running for president …. apparently, he might just come out with a new book that will be published on the day he is sworn into office by the honorary chief justice Jeremiah Wright. It’s titled: I didn’t lose the presidency to John McCain. But if I did, here’s how I did it.

Senator (part-time) Obama,

Would you please respond to the following:

1. One of the first attacks on Palin when she was chosen (now apparently dead due to lack of anyone who would anonymously confirm it) related to marijuana use. Would you tell us the last date you used illegal substances, as you have admitted you did? Blood test results to confirm, please;

2. Your people have attacked Palin’s ties to some off-center Alaskan political party. Would you please discuss your own ties to political figures Ayers, Dohrn and Razko?

3. Some of your followers attack Palin for her religious convictions, would you please discuss your relationship with “Minister” Farrakhan and Rev. Wright.

And he managed to fight his way back from nearly dead in the Republican primaries all the way to a stunning victory.

And I still didn’t expect him to be playing the game at this level.

Another thing he and Palin have in common: they are consistently underestimated.
