Once again, through the magic of my partners at Ustream, Hot Air readers can watch the entire event live right here on this blog. The show starts at about 8 pm ET/7 pm CT, so be sure to get the stream going and keep it live right on your browser:
Free video streaming by Ustream
And we will open the chat room again, too, since it proved so popular last night. I’ll be in and out, and this time I’ll try to get a moderator assigned as soon as possible:
I’ll be broadcasting, live, from Radio Row between 8 – 10 pm CT tonight at AM 1280 The Patriot. Tune in on the stream to hear Mitch Berg, King Banaian, and me discuss the speeches in real time!

I know I may get flogged for this but Rudy really should be on the top of this ticket!
There is no way McCain can muster up this energy.
Right on Rudy for bringing home the fundemental reason for the establishment of the GOP~

Rudy Rocked It!

Her Dad is making me lose it.

Palin: “This is a man who can give a speech about the wars America is fighting and never use the word victory unless he’s talking about his own campaign.”
GreatGatsby on September 3, 2008 at 10:56 PM
And not a single stuttering “Uhhh…ummm…” in the whole speech.
Texan on September 3, 2008 at 11:05 PM
Best line so far “In politics, there are some who use change to promote their careers, while there are others who use their careers to promote change”.
webproze on September 3, 2008 at 11:07 PM
Best damn acceptance speech I’ve heard in my generation.
Texan on September 3, 2008 at 11:09 PM
Sarah Palin’s speech:
Out. Of. The. Park.
Why? Not just because of the delivery, not just because of the zingers, not just because of the content.
But mainly because her actions and her life match her words.
Montana on September 3, 2008 at 11:09 PM
See the body language as McCain joins her on the stage? She doesn’t defer to him; she stands as an equal. Shows you her mindset.
Texan on September 3, 2008 at 11:12 PM
Wow, I do not see how they are going to out do tomrrow night. I sure hope they do though.
PiggieSez on September 3, 2008 at 11:12 PM
That home grrl Alaskan accent didn’t help her but that was an awesome speech. The whole daughter thingie was washed away almost immediately.
I love her, too, tee866.
Tuning Spork on September 3, 2008 at 11:12 PM
Gimme a break. Are you an East Coast elitist? She has a nice voice.
jgapinoy on September 3, 2008 at 11:16 PM
See now, I find her accent nice. It is her hometown voice, not some practiced, cultured thing. No artifice.
Texan on September 3, 2008 at 11:17 PM
I liked the 9/11 drinking game idea. But everyone would’ve gotten plastered if the drinking word were “zero”.
Coronagold on September 3, 2008 at 11:17 PM
a RUDY PALIN ticket would be incredible
Bodhi on September 3, 2008 at 11:18 PM
Alright, the regulars are back, time for me to go away.
Good speech, good night.
Texan on September 3, 2008 at 11:18 PM
Raisin’ McCain? I thought they were going to play Rainin’ McCain!
Tzetzes on September 3, 2008 at 11:19 PM
No need to be so harsh the person was merely stating their opinon as they went on to say the love her. I myself find the accent endering(sp).
PiggieSez on September 3, 2008 at 11:20 PM
Good night and thanks for the chat!
PiggieSez on September 3, 2008 at 11:21 PM
The whole gang on the stage after the speech reminded me of the Von Trapp family.
Coronagold on September 3, 2008 at 11:21 PM
Well, Palin’s speech is over, AP. Are you feeling a little bit better now?
Dusty on September 3, 2008 at 11:21 PM
Key quotes (paraphrased): “Being a mayor isn’t like being a community organizer, it involves real responsibility”
and
“this [Obama] is a man who has written two autobiographies but not one law or reform”
She came off as an experience and tough executive with more than enough ability to be President if required; and much more than enough charisma and fight to help ensure McCain becomes President.
Jason on September 3, 2008 at 11:22 PM
Holy Sh!t
Saraaaaaah!
Barrack who?
FiveWays on September 3, 2008 at 11:23 PM
I read on the live-blog a post that said Olby was saying she was harsh. Yeah you d*ckw*d! She’s ripping PO’d at a$$-holes like you that have been slandering her for three days! That guy has enough gall to be divided into three parts.
So, does anybody still think that little ol’ hockey mom is still some kind of weak sister? Good heavens, I bet those kids stay on their best behavior. Unless, of course, they’re as tough as she is. . .
smellthecoffee on September 3, 2008 at 11:23 PM
ATTENTION:
JOE BIDEN:
Be afraid.
Be VERY afraid.
FiveWays on September 3, 2008 at 11:25 PM
Didn’t help her with whom? Down here people say we talk funny and everybody in these parts LOVES the way she talks.
Elizabetty on September 3, 2008 at 11:33 PM
Tuning Spork on September 3, 2008 at 11:35 PM
Sarah doesn’t have an accent. Whatta buncha dudes!
kcfrommt on September 3, 2008 at 11:50 PM
Everybody has an accent, it’s just a matter of what one thinks of it, or what background it denotes. (As for Palin, part of her accent is her turning, for example, of “oil-fields” into “oil-fillds”, etc.)
Tzetzes on September 4, 2008 at 12:15 AM
Pretty good speech by SARAH. Home run? Sure. Out of the park? Sure. I see this as a FORETASTE OF SPEECHES TO COME! She was under VERY HEAVY pressure to deliver the goods, and she was able to relax into it a little bit. STUPID DEMS! STUPID MEDIA! I guess the fraking ‘tards forgot to read her FRAKING BIO! It was written BY HER, she able to play with it enough, to turn the accent up and down a few times! See the famous TEETH in her words, liberally sprinkled thru it? That’s authentic SARAH BARRACUDA! She can do it off the cuff, rapid fire, round table style. I almost feel sorry for JOE BIDEN in the veep debate to come. NAH, frak him, he’s going to come out of the debate, OW,OW,OW,OW, somebody call me an ambulance. OK, YOU’RE AN AMBULANCE JOE. HEhehehehehehehe.
