Ma’am, have you ever read Peggy Noonan’s columns before? It’s no secret that she’s on the right side of the aisle but she’ll call out those who’re off target regardless if right or left. She’s actually written an article in praise of Hillary (the horror!) earlier this year in fact.

If she was caught with an open mic and passed judgement on McCain’s selection, that’s unfortunate. This op-ed piece at WSJ.com seems to correct her tack. What she didn’t say is that she’d like to ‘cut his 8alls off’ with an open mic…that is much more damning no?

If this Noonan ’scandal’ really is how it sounds, then I have to wonder for her future career.

a segment with NBC’s Chuck Todd ended today, Republican consultant Mike Murphy and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan were caught on a live mike ridiculing the choice of Sarah Palin.

“It’s over,” said Noonan, and then responded to a question of whether Palin is the most qualified Republican woman McCain could have chosen.

“The most qualified? No. I think they went for this — excuse me — political bullsh** about narratives,” she said. “Every time Republicans do that — because that’s not where they live and it’s not what they’re good at — they blow it.”

Murphy chimed in:

“The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical.”

Heck, I’d vote for Peggy if she ran. She’s tough as nails, too.

(Am I the only one who thinks that conservative chicks are just naturally sexy. Strength through rational thought is just such a turn on.)

For example when they say “She has no experience.”, what they actually mean is “She has some actual political experience unlike my candidate who has a history of disqualifying opponents and running unopposed.”

Or when they say “Her selection was a desparate move for McCain.”, what they actually mean is “She is such an attractive and powerful new voice that we are desparate to submarine her in any way we can, rather than actually run against her.”

Needless to say, any indication of failing support on McCain’s part will cause the US banking system to melt down… imagine what would happen if 50 million dollars worth of checks to the same payee were simulateously hit with “stop payment” orders.

This is such a travesty and no truer reflection of the mindset of the radical left and/or the MSM. Hopefully, she bitch slaps the bastards tonight in her speech. I’m rooting for her like I’ve never rooted for any politician before in my lifetime. When I look at her, I see my wife, my family, and my way of life under direct attack.

All the many points were solid. But that last one bears emphasis: If McCain doesn’t step up to the plate and defend Palin full force (and see to it that everyone else on his teams does so too), then we’ll make him history by the sheer magnitude of his November defeat.

Seems a lot of DC-area realtors are more than willing to give the Obama campaign money.

The reason?

If McCain is elected housing prices in the Langley/Great Falls and Potomac, MD areas are going to drop. Why the drop? Federal jobs to be cut and Beltway Bandits and lobbyists being squeezed out of mainstream Washington power bases. Have no idea as to how widespread this thinking is, but it does figure.

Vote Obama, enlarge government, increase the number of Beltway Bandits and lobbying outfits…thus housing prices in the upper-scale neighborhoods go up as competition for new homes grows faster than they can be built. For a realtor, this is money in the bank.

It also shows how shallow one segment of our population can be…what’s in it for me attitude prevails. Then, again I guess it does go beyond realtors, it goes to the heart of the Democrat Party…what’s in it for me.

That was a long way of saying: Dig deep into Sarah Palin, get all you can, talk to everybody, get every vote, every quote, tell us of her career and life, she may be the next vice president. But don’t play games. And leave her kid alone, bitch.

The first paragraph is beautiful, but I’m skeptical about the second. What rankled Obama is what rankles Obama. That it touches on his life, that his mother was 18 when he was born. By attacking Palin’s daughter, you’re attacking him, and THAT’s what bothers him so much, because for him, it’s all about him. I know that’s a very cynical reading but it fits with the rest of Obama’s narcissistic personality. Don’t criticize him personally, even by proxy. It’s all about him.

The yellow journalism they are putting forward stems from the fact they are desperately scared of a ‘soccer mom’. A breed of woman that they have been cultivating for decades in an effort to bring them over to liberal’s side.

Well, the cultivating has official ended as they are now denigrating them and telling them that the job/family sacrifices they have made, and are now making, was only a ruse on their part.

So tonight, when Palin speaks, the soccer moms will be telling the MSM to go to hell, and they will no longer put up with their patronization of them.
