Apparently, the WaPo has frozen the comments for that bogus story so nobody can post anything disputing it.I’ve tried several times, though I wonder why I bother sometimes. I glanced over the comments that are there, and nobody seems to get the fact that funding for the program has actually skyrocketed.

Let’s do this in simple math…

The original funding for a program is set at $500.

There is a call to increase funding to $750.

The final increase in funding is set at $650.

$650 minus $500 = $150 increase.

No decrease at all from the original funding. Thus no cut.

Damn, 40 years of MEA-controlled public school education coming back to bite us in the butt.
