A picture refutes a thousand nutcase conspiracies

I’d like to share a picture of Governor Sarah Palin’s lovely young family, a photo that some may have already seen in connection to a despicable Internet smear against the Palins. Here we have Sarah and Todd with their daughters Piper, Willow, and Bristol. A few bloggers have pointed to the curve of Bristol’s stomach, rather typical for teens, as proof that it was she who gave birth to Trig Palin in April 2008, and not Governor Palin.

Here’s the caption from the Anchorage Daily News:
Sarah Palin at home with her family in Wasilla, Alaska in 2006.
Either the Palin women have a record gestational period, or this proves that Bristol’s small amount of “baby fat” has nothing to do with an actual baby. She’s a normal young teenage girl, not the center of a grand conspiracy to hide some deep, dark family secret — the type of which stopped being deep and dark a few decades ago.
And there are these new photos over at Free Republic as well:

These appear to have been taken around the same time as the photo I posted on Saturday, which appeared in the Anchorage Daily News on February 29th:

Will this stop the nutroots from attacking Palin’s children in their desperation to derail the Republicans? Doubtful. I’m sure some of them are working out the details of the same kind of time travel that allowed Joe Biden to see Bobby Casey at the age of -2.
On the other hand, perhaps they are moving on. HuffPo has a new scandal — Palin told a boob joke in college. I’m not kidding, unfortunately.

Even HuffPo readers are rejecting the boob joke scandal. I’m sure the Kos will take up the case.
lodge on September 1, 2008 at 6:37 AM
But of course. Any Kos Kid will tell you that these pics are photoshopped and the real pics are in a vault at Halliburton Headquarters. There is no question that this whole thing was retroactively set-up by Blackwater operatives at the behest of Darth Cheney (who is Sarah’s ACTUAL father) and with the full knowledge of Chimpy McBushitler. C’mon Ed…get with the program /s

Her T-Shirt speaks volumes. The rising cost of education is filling the coffers of left wing nut jobs, as it has since she was in college.

I thought most teen girls had that slight roundness to their stomachs.
Gov. Palin is obviously preggo in the interview photo.
But, lo, the Huffblow and Daily Kooks will say, the right is covering up an unwanted pregnancy conspiracy.
But my question to them is this: Since the left supports teen pregnancy, single mothers, acts of rebellion, why try to play up an issue you support, however wrong you are?
Damn hippie-crites!

Even our end of the blogosphere has been focused on the libel against Sarah Palin that claims that baby is her grand-daughter and not her daughter. How about the libel against an innocent 14-year old that claims that she gave birth to a child when she likely has never even had relations with a boy? Making an unsubstantiated claim like that is despicable. And the kid probably isn’t subject to the ‘public figure defense’ in a libel suit either. I’d think about filing it if I were her Dad.

Outrageous, pathetic and stupid. Do they think this kind of attack against Palin and her family helps? Their justification {as if they really believed they needed one} seems to be that the mean picked on John Edwards, hence it is okay to go after Palin, her kids, her husband and if necessary the entire state of Alaska.

When it comes to Republicans it’s never the crime but the COVERUP that matters. So the less evidence there is to prove the allegation, the more that proves how incredibly insidious we all are. And if we “conveniently” come up with absolutely irrefutable proof of innocence, well, that’s the worst crime of all: a conspiracy!

Trig-gate (sorry) preoccupies the nutroots as they see nothing wrong with smearing teenagers. Meanwhile, they and the MSM have been standing with their hands over their ears screaming “la-la-la-la, I can’t hear you,” any time you mention Obama’s overwhelming negatives. Vetting my a**. He’s more of a disgrace than the nutroots.
All doubts are indefinitely resolved in favor of Palin.
And I can’t wait to hear that some lefty cracks wise to Palin or the girls and our man Todd kicks the lefty’s a**.
I saw her CNBC interview last night, which was good, and she had a nice line that Biden was against the Trans-Alaskan Pipleline…30 years ago. New slogan–Biden: A Breath of Fresh Air?

Any smear against any “non-progressive” is justified, in the Koskids’ deranged universe. All that matters is that their side wins.
The bizarre thing is, for their conspiracy theory to be true (which it isn’t), the rules of genetics would have to be wrong. Such as the one based on decades of research that goes, “Down’s Syndrome births normally only occur among women in their 40s, or those bearing a menopausal child.” (Truth in advertising; my mother was 44 when she had me.)
The only thing that would make the Kosmonauts happy would be a teenage pregnancy ending with an abortion, to forestall bringing an “imperfect” child into the world.
How Margaret Sanger of them.
Eugenics
Or, maybe they’d prefer being compared to Khan Noonian Singh?
Eugenics Wars
Either way, their mask of being “more sensitive and compassionate” than those evil “Rethuglicans” just slipped, badly. Revealing the deep-seated rage and soul-burning hatred underneath- which they direct against anyone who is not exactly like them.

Bawdiness in American culture is about as American as apple pie. Just ask the Founding Fathers, especially Mr. Franklin, who took bawdiness to an extreme.
Sarah Palin is just showing that even as a College Gal in Idaho she had great American spirit.
She is the Modern prodigy of America’s Founding Fathers: Limited Government, Western Frontier spirit, and a Take No BS attitude.
My friends, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Alright. Let’s put this one to bed. I just think the whole thing is unfair to her daughter. The girl is beautiful and she is getting a national inspection of her tummy. It’s time for Hot Air to drop this one. Let the nuts on the left make a$$es of themselves if they must, but why don’t we try to treat the Palin kids with the type of respect that was demanded for Chelsey.
I would add that the Obama kids should be off limits too, but that doesn’t need to be said. The right wouldn’t even think of attacking them.

I have browse through various nutroot blogs that are already on damage control for this blow to their alternate reality.
The new argument leaches off the illustrious Mr. Colmes lead and goes something like:
It would have been better if she had been covering for her daughter. At least then, she would have shown reasonable concern and responsibility for her children. Instead she flys around the earth, leaking amniotic fluid everywhere. That, coupled with her heavy drug use is probably why her child has Down Syndrome.
There is no HOPE for these people unless it springs fully formed from the lips of The One.

It is not over – I think they want DNA tests done and a sworn avidavid (sp ?) by the obstetrician. Also, they are attacking her husband – almost accusing him of raping his daughter or raping Sarah. He’s such a burly, bulging man – not the timid, metrosexuals of today’s generation.

Trackback regarding “Under God” to be retained or removed from the pledge, and Palin referencing our Founding Fathers’ concept of God’s Providence to substantiate Palin’s position for our day, the only gound for ubertards to criticize her response deals with their perception of God’s location, and the relative positioning of God and Man. Ubertards feign that our Founding Fathers did not relate to the phrase “under God” because ubertards do not worship a God in Heaven, but a god of the earth, either themselves as god or satan from beneath. Hence, the man/god ubertard relationship inverts the position factoring Man above god as they would reword the phrase, striking “under” as “Over God” or remove the phrase all together from our National Pledge.

uncivilized on September 1, 2008 at 9:25 AM
First, Governor Palin is not merely, as Jay describes her, “all-American”, but hyper-American. What other country in the developed world produces beauty queens who hunt caribou and serve up a terrific moose stew? As an immigrant, I’m not saying I came to the United States purely to meet chicks like that, but it was certainly high on my list of priorities. And for the gun-totin’ Miss Wasilla then to go on to become Governor while having five kids makes it an even more uniquely American story. Next to her resume, a guy who’s done nothing but serve in the phony-baloney job of “community organizer” and write multiple autobiographies looks like just another creepily self-absorbed lifelong member of the full-time political class that infests every advanced democracy.
Second, it can’t be in Senator Obama’s interest for the punditocracy to spends its time arguing about whether the Republicans’ vice-presidential pick is “even more” inexperienced than the Democrats’ presidential one.
Third, real people don’t define “experience” as appearing on unwatched Sunday-morning talk shows every week for 35 years and having been around long enough to have got both the War on Terror and the Cold War wrong. (On the first point, at the Gun Owners of New Hampshire dinner in the 2000 campaign, I remember Orrin Hatch telling me sadly that he was stunned to discover how few Granite State voters knew who he was.) Sarah Palin and Barack Obama are more or less the same age, but Governor Palin has run a state and a town and a commercial fishing operation, whereas (to reprise a famous line on the Rev Jackson) Senator Obama ain’t run nothin’ but his mouth. She’s done the stuff he’s merely a poseur about. Post-partisan? She took on her own party’s corrupt political culture directly while Obama was sucking up to Wright and Ayers and being just another get-along Chicago machine pol (see his campaign’s thuggish attempt to throttle Stanley Kurtz and Milt Rosenberg on WGN the other night).
Fourth, Governor Palin has what the British Labour Party politician Denis Healy likes to call a “hinterland” – a life beyond politics. Whenever Senator Obama attempts anything non-political (such as bowling), he comes over like a visiting dignitary to a foreign country getting shanghaied into some impenetrable local folk ritual. Sarah Palin isn’t just on the right side of the issues intellectually. She won’t need the usual stage-managed “hunting” trip to reassure gun owners: she’s lived the Second Amendment all her life. Likewise, on abortion, we’re often told it’s easy to be against it in principle but what if you were a woman facing a difficult birth or a handicapped child? Been there, done that.
Fifth, she complicates all the laziest Democrat pieties. Energy? Unlike Biden and Obama, she’s been to ANWR and, like most Alaskans, supports drilling there. (Steyn)

I, just a plain citizen, hope that someone in the top Republican Party machinery have the sense to put some sort of a taskforce to help the Palin family cope with all the vicious attacks they will edure going forward. It is hard for any of us to protect our families and loved ones from the outside world, much less for the Palin family that has been thrust into the public spotlight as Sarah so graciously agreed to serve us. Sometimes I think the Daily Kos and company should get a taste of their own medicine and we should start prying into their own lives and blast it on the internet.
Ugh, I pray for no gaffes and a smooth sailing toward the next presidency of McCain/Palin.

Have you ever listened to dogs barking at night? Maybe one dog will actually have a reason to bark. All the others bark because everyone else is too.
Welcome to the World of Kos. Woof.

You make a good point. Thanks for the reminder.

I’ve never been able to grasp the logic behind most of the left’s agenda, but I didn’t realize what complete nutjobs they were! Is this the best they can do? They actually believe they can take down an entire party with sleazy speculation about a teenage girl?!
Please, please, please let there me “handlers”, (or helpers, whatever) that are assuring these beautiful children that the nutjobs are nothing to fear- the majority of them will be crawling back into their caves in Nov.
Seriously. I am speechless that Wright, Ayers, etc. are “distractions”, but ugly made up garbage about a teenager is valid.

In case this hasn’t been posted here yet, this is a post from April of this year on a non-political website where the woman posting remarks on the pregnant gov. and post pics. Unless McCain has a time machine, this is game over.

Why does any of this surprise any of you/us?? This is who they are, this is who BHO and JB are and they all need each other to pull off the scam…Three card monty only works if there’s someone stupid enough to think they can beat the dealer.
