CNN: Hey, won’t Palin be neglecting her Down’s syndrome baby?

posted at 4:21 pm on August 29, 2008 by Allahpundit
Share on Facebook | printer-friendly

This is phase one. Phase two will be, “Wouldn’t a strong, responsible, authentic feminist woman have aborted it?” Man, I’m downright giddy at the thought of where the next eight weeks are going to take us.

Ace helpfully offers the left a new campaign slogan. Exit question: Sure, Palin’s running for VP while raising a family of five that includes a special needs baby, but has she “walked through fire” the way Hillary Clinton has? Click the image to watch.

Hey, isn’t Palin irresponsible for having five kids with global warming as serious as it is?

carbon_footprint on August 29, 2008 at 4:23 PM

It’s okay to be a woman with a career, unless you’re a conservative woman with a career.

People, we’re all missing the issue here. We need to ask ourselves what Mike Huckabee thinks about Palin!

NorthernCross on August 29, 2008 at 4:25 PM

I thought the same thing a couple months ago… so we should give them some leeway. This is something that will be talked about a lot so Team McCain needs to sit her down with some reporter and talk about it. All these attacks on Palin are huge opportunities to recast perceptions and narratives since she is so red meat. Get her out there and make them attack her. Answer the critics early…

I was at my university at 12 17 so I had to watch it on CNN. I hate CNN. But what did I catch? Right at the very end? That damn scrolling news thing on the bottom displaying the death tolls for the wars… all of them, and then the number combined, I think it was right as the speech ended. Despicable.

And Ace, I love days like this when he is rolling:

It’s going to be a long 60-ish(?) days.

How would she be neglecting it? What does a Downs Syndrome baby need that other babies don’t need? Well baby checkups? Feeding? Changing? Holding? Kisses? The baby is an infant. There is no magic care that only the mother can give assuming that she is not giving it herself already. Jackasses.

So, let’s see we are supposed to vote for the black guy with no experience or character instead of the white guy who with experience because the VP is a woman who’s kid has downs syndrome.

Yup… classy.

Gee… is didn’t seem to be a problem for her to be Governor(which is a far more independent role) and completely reform the State of Alaska in 2 years by herself while having a kid with Downs. But yeah, as VP of the US who will have access to a staff of hundreds and who’s primary job will be to preside over the Senate, who goes multiple 5 week vacations each year… yeah. She couldn’t handle that.

Outside of being disgusted, I was pleased to see they didn’t disappoint – and they never do. I only wish it was NBC’s David Gregory who stepped in it. I’ll never forgive him for his treatment of President Bush over the past several years.

Yes, but the difference is, when utopians trot out the old black and white KKK films, the burning crosses, the lynchings, it looks ancient, tired and desperate.

But if Obama stumbles into the live birth abortion and eugenics arena, there are images we can show that have never had a wide audience, including videotape, sonograms, and dramatic testimony of those who faced serious trauma after abortion.

In spite of the incoherent nonsense that comes out of the mouth of the average CNN reporter (it’s even worse when you have to read it) the message actually makes sense in a lefty’s world: What they’re telling their audience is that a woman with a special needs child can’t succeed professionally without neglecting the kid. Thus, better abort an “unfit” baby. Very humane, isn’t it? And how thoughtful of the media to point this out for us who might have thought that it would be a good idea to vote for McCain/Palin! Aren’t we glad we have CNN!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

On the one hand, we have a Governor from Alaska who has a daughter who has some traffic tickets, and another daughter who probably fools around a bit….

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, okay…

And on the other hand, the Presidential candidate from the other party is:

a Marxist-Muslim who practices Taqiyah
had a Communist, Racist, Anti-American Pedophile as a “mentor”
had his politcal career started by an Anti-American unrepentent Domestic Terrorist who date-raped in college..
who self-radicalized himself into an Anti-White/Anti-American/Anti-Semitic Marxist and his equally repellent wife….
who is married to a Racist, Anti-American, Anti-White Nutjob….
who spent 20 years cheering on an Anti-White/Anti-Semitic/Anti-American Nation-of-Islam “convert” to “Christianity”, the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright…
who has been friends with an Anti-American/Anti-Semitic wannabe “gangsta” “Catholic” “Priest”…..
who’s Communist-sympathizing grandfather, hung out with Communist Racist, Anti-American “friends”; and smoked dope with them as well….
who’s Anti-American/self-hating mother went to a High School where she learned the Communist Manifesto, and belonged to “the little ‘Red Church” on the hill with her parents, in their home town in Washington State…
who hung out with Marxists, Communists, and Socialists in college, and admitted it in writing…
who abused drugs constantly from High School thru college
who has been friends, business partners, and buddies with Anti-American/Pro-Jihadi/Anti-Semitic Palestinians and Arabs from College, thru till this day…
who has accepted illegal campaign contributions from Jihadis in the Gaza strip, and had his campaign lie about it..
who has failed in every single venture he’s undertaken in his life: no articles for the Harvard Law Review; failed Slum Lord, failed Lawyer, etc…
who has won only two elections by eliminating the competition thru dirty tactics and tricks each time…
who was registered as a Muslim and an Indonesian citizen by the name of Barry Soertoro in Grade School, and has lied about it for 20 years…
who believes that infanticide is a “natural right”…
who has been involved in crooked/corrupt dealings with known criminals from Syria & Iraq in the buying of his own personal home….
ad nauseum….

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Let me see………….this is tough……………I just can’t decide which one to pick……………….

Chirp……………Chirp……………..Chirp!

Ah….Yeah!
