Woman with 14 percent approval rating to energy protesters: “Can we drill your brains?”

Hard to believe that a wit this quick could produce a book no one wants to read. Snappiest takedown since Tim Kaine accused McCain of not being able to count to seven? I think so.
House Democratic leaders and protesters waving McCain signs had a war of words Tuesday at a press event outside an old train station. The demonstrators interrupted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with chants of “Drill here! Drill now!”
Pelosi paused and asked the group, “Right here?”
Seeming to enjoy the back and forth, she followed with another question: “Can we drill your brains?”
She went on to refer to the protestors, who continued to chant sporadically, as “handmaidens of Big Oil.”
I crave video, that together we might cherish the obligatory look of satisfaction on her face after she delivered that titanic slam, but I can’t find any. Rule one when heckling slow-witted Democratic politicians: Always bring a camera. And speaking of dimwits with cameras, if you missed Sherrod Brown’s infomercial during the convention last night, you really should treat yourself. McCain’s blog has a clip. It’ll drill your brain.

Every time I looked over at Peloser’s speech (with the TV muted, of course) her scary head would bounce from teleprompter to teleprompter, pause briefly mid-air, then lunge again towards a teleprompter like a chicken pecking scratch.
As a result haven’t been able to get the old tune “When the red, red, robin comes bob-bob-bobbin’ along” out of my head all day.

- She’s checking to see if it fell off yet. Look what happened to Michael Jackson.
- She was looking to see if the drill bit came out there
- Seeing if it is growing
- If she looks at here nose, her eyes won’t shift so much when she lies.
- She’s not looking ‘at’ her nose, she’s looking ‘down’ it at the pathetic proletariat who have the audacity to question her.

Lady Gargoyle can say anything without consequence as she is in a knee-jerk liberal district that will reelect her until she quits or dies (maybe even after). As one of my senators, I have had my share of dealings with his office. They have been nothing but pure lemming-like adherence to current left-leaning Democrat talking points such as the reliance on the flawed IPCC to say that climate change is the most serious threat we face.
Also, I forget the issue, but he did go away from the Democrat position when that position would obviously hurt labor and the “working” class. However, his response up until the vote was in support of the national Democrat Party position.
This makes him too spineless for my tastes.
