I don’t think Charlie Rangel is going to be saying thank you any time soon! He was consigned to a joint appearance with the Black Caucus doing a tribute to Stephanie Tubbs Jones — so far out of the limelight, it couldn’t even qualify as a warm up act. He could hardly decline to celebrate Tubbs-Jones, and had it not been for her, he’d have probably declined the insult.

I thought Rangel was forceful in making Hillary give up the ghost just before Obama's "This will be the moment" speech. What is the upside to humbling the Ways and Means Chair? I wonder if some rent control liberals will be added to Powerline's speculated targets of an Obama Justice Dept.

Y’know, I was reading over at the Belmont Club today about all the significant, bad ass things that are going on internationally, and someone commented that during a time of major world events, the politicians responsible for dealing with it are preening in a marketing driven spectacle, complete with strobe lights and fairy dust. Very little of substance is being addressed by anyone in that crowd,..it’s a gigantic popularity contest and powerfest. Somehow, our whole political process has become just a Hollywood extravaganza. Professional managers are driving the whole circus.

If you follow that link to the video and read the comments, you see the typical moonbat commentary – “Maulkin is a conspiracy theorist/radical/freak/etc.”, “she earned it”, “she shouldn’t have gone looking for a confrontation”…

Frankly, I fail to see why for ANY reason it’s right to attack someone. Especially a woman much smaller than you….
