Hot Air TV at the DNC: Levity and levitation

Intrepid Hot Air special correspondent Jason Mattera continues to mix it up with the moonbats. We need to turn this into a reality show. In today’s episodes, you meet the levitation crew (Jason was lucky enough to escape the Troofers who descended on me at the Mint…more on that later), a professional protester who shares his funding secrets, and various grievance-mongers who can’t recall what they’re grieving as they wander about in their land of make-believe.
Love, peace, justice!
Enjoy:

When do we get to see the Alex Jones incident!?

y’know, these loonies wouldn’t bother me NEARLY as much if tax dollars weren’t supporting them in some way — which u KNOW is true in many [most?] cases …

That poor vendor guy. Good job, Jason & Michelle.
KelliD on August 26, 2008 at 1:12 PM
I’ve read about this…
Back in the 60s, it was cool and hip to protest, and it was a good way to get chicks – which was the raison d’etre of most student protesters. The substance of the protest didn’t matter.

Oh, the part where the bums want to “levitate” the US Mint and shake all the money out to which Jason responds (paraphrased because I couldn’t hear the audio clearly) “Yeah… I want money too, but I prefer to work.” ROFLMAO
Excellent point, Jason!

haha. The only reason Jason gets away with some of that stuff is because he is a good looking fellow. That pepperspray schtick with that girl is the case in point. If he was ugly and said stupid stuff like that she wouldn’t give him the time of day, but since he’s not bad looking, she said she’d think about trying the idea. Hilarious stuff. Nice work.

Great economic bounce for downtown Denver. “It’s been dead all day”. I can’t wait for 6 miles Interstate 25 around Mile High Stadium to be shut down for 5.5 hours during rush hour. I hope the voters of Denver remember this little gift from Barry Hussien Obama and vote accordingly.
Kuffar on August 26, 2008 at 1:45 PM
We could petition to change the law, explaining that Darwinism demands that these types be eliminated from the Gene Pool. I’m not saying that we should kill these people or anything to that effect. I am saying that we should prohibit them from breeding.

Golly gosh there I go again. I really wish I was smart. That was one of those nuanced rhetorical questions. What you really mean is that because this guy is not fighting in Iraq his comments and opinions don’t matter.

What’s maddening about these Biodome morons is that their vote has the same value as those of us actual taxpayers with real jobs. How come legal immigrants have to pass a basic history class to be granted citizenship and voting rights… while these overindulged idiots from San Francisco County get it as their birthright? Privatizing public schools and bringing back the draft suddenly sounds verrrrry appealing…

Mojack420 on August 26, 2008 at 2:02 PM
Ah the irony is delicious!
There’s the street vendor, the hard-working entrepreneur, struggling to do business amongst scores of people who claim to care for the besieged members of the lower and middle classes. Instead of contributing to society and thereby helping this street vendor, these delusional protesters drain human resources and wealth by forcing Denver to deploy riot police, grounds-keeping crew, and bureaucrats to handle their mess.
Hypocrisy at its finest, folks.

Sounds like the John Lennon song, “Imagine.” What these people don’t realize is that pacifism only works when the other side shares your values, and plays along… ask John Lennon how well his being a pacifist worked out in his run-in with Mark David Chapman. Hope for the best in people, but always be prepared for the worst.

That’s right fossten, and their professors have regailed them with nostalgic stories of those historic times. So, lacking any real grievances of their own, these modern day hippee wannabees latch onto any issue they are spurred on to by the liberal intelligensia (the MSM and Democraic party apparatchicks) in a vain effort to have a “real” protest experience of their own.

And the guy who sues for false arrest?? whats up with that? How does he win those cases? Of course…if he wasnt living in the USA he wouldnt be able to sue. Him and his co-horts would be doing time in the nearest gulag…or dead.
I have to admit these videos are hilarious! lol

Levitate the mint! Why didn’t I think of that?
I loved the way the tool in the first clip got China’s economic system (psuedo-capitalism) mixed up with their political system (communism). That happens alot. I wonder where the money for the organs of political opponents and ‘criminals’ (sold on the black market) goes…? Hmmmmmm, probably not to the ‘right people’. Well, it’s the fault of American capitalism…and don’t forget George Bush!

Actually, Jason, I have a feeling that vinegar probably helps her smell better.

hmmm, i see it as a curious side-effect of prosperity… total lack of appreciation for the standard of living or an uncanny tendency to take for granted what the society makes possible. even to the point of looney-toon you see here. when some people have no real struggle, they create one… even when it’s way out there.

That vid was uncomfortable to watch. Michelle did an excellent job of keeping her composure. I’m wondering why the cops didn’t do anything… a crowd shouting “kill” is something that should have caught their attention.

I have to believe that these hippies don’t know that the Denver Mint only does coins. It is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, located in Washington, D.C. and Ft. Worth, which prints cash.
azlibertarian on August 26, 2008 at 5:24 PM
I bet the vendor guy wishes he was going to be in Minneapolis – Saint Paul next week, instead of being stuck with the give it to me for free crowd in Denver.
Levitate the Mint, shake the money out and redistribute the wealth. In their dreams. LOL

Jason, this stuff is golden. My favorite part was with the fat old hippie implying that China was not free because they are capitalists now.
Multibucket on August 26, 2008 at 6:15 PM
In this politically correct world, one is not permitted to say that some people are just really stupid.
Unfortunately, the reality is that there are plenty of really stupid people. But, don’t worry, Obamma can’t wait to give them a check and pay them for being stupid.
That’s the Americam way. If you don’t believe me, look at the 65 “B” billion spent on Katrina. For that kind of money, I would re-build every house in New Orleans and give the “Victims” a brand new house.
But, alas, then there would be no victims and the left would have no cause. Pi$$ing the 65 “B” billion away is much better for the left because they can feel good about throwing good money down the well and still have a “just” cause left to complain about.
saiga on August 26, 2008 at 6:19 PM
That 65 “B” billion, is 65 thousand million. Do you have any idea how much money that is? And look at New Orleans today…..It is the same shamefull disaster it has always been, only now the National Guard patrols the streets and the worthless residents have new cell phones, more jewelry, and more drugs.
Sonme problems money can’t solve, but for all the rest, there’s the liberals.

Afraid I’ve never been able to sign up for comments on your blog, so I just want to salute your courage here, after seeing the tape of Alex Jones assaulting you today. I can believe that people will say almost anything in letters and email, but it was frightening to see that kind of insanity in the flesh — even just sitting at home watching the video. Keep your friends close, stay safe, and know that there are also a lot of folks who don’t see eye to eye with you, which sometimes includes me, but who also admire your guts and respect all you’ve done and are doing. You go, girl!
