Oh my, I am so hoping for a Hillary/Palin catfight of the century in 2012 if McCain picks Sarah and wins in 2008.

Life is good. We guys can sit back and enjoy as they fight for the MAN Vote. Yes!

until we wake up and one of them takes office. :)

As the week goes by and more folks see O'BamBam hangin' with the likes of Pelosi, Dean and Biden our boy McCain will be up by 10. McCain will actually get a nice bump from the Democrat's convention.

In 2004 the election was "stolen" because the polls couldn't possibly have been wrong.
.
In 2008 Obama is ahead because the polls couldn't possibly be right.
.
How ironic.

Ultimately I think it works in his favor to finally be behind once in this poll, now the meme about being presumptuous won't be able to carry through the rest of the election. So long as he can regain a lead in either tomorrow's or the day after's polling that is, otherwise it might be a real trend.

Prediction: Obama loses and Hillary runs against whomever McCani picks for VP. Obama will be over.

DerKrieger

I've always thought that the best thing for O'bama to do if he does lose in 2008 is to move back to his old "home state" of Hawaii and eventually succeed aging Democrat Senator Dan Inouye, who is almost as old as Robert Byrd and has been representing poi-land since Teddy Kennedy's brother was President. It's the perfect job for him.

The cell phone argument was made during Kerry's loss in 2004 - how'd that work out?

I would be surprised if the pollsters hadn't done anything to compensate for it.

DNC fade to black:

"It was an early morning yesterday
I was up before the dawn
And I really have enjoyed my stay
But I must be moving on

"Like a king without a castle
Like a queen without a throne
I'm an early morning lover
And I must be moving on

"Now I believe in what you say
Is the undisputed truth
But I have to have things my own way
To keep me in my youth

"Like a ship without an anchor
Like a slave without a chain
Just the thought of those sweet ladies
Sends a shiver through my veins

"And I will go on shining
Shining like brand new
I'll never look behind me
My troubles will be few"

Nope. Sample error!

Russert made the same point last night and I heard that a lot in my poli sci classes. My wife and I are both mid-20's and only have cell phones. As a result we've never been called about anything political/poll related.

But we're both voting for McCain, so...

Better rerun the "I have to vote for Barack" mantra cause it looks like the numbers are receding with the oceans and the light is going out. Let not your heart be troubled, soon we will begin to heal.

It's almost enough just to see them sweat and slobber... almost.

Hypothetical: What would happen if suddenly people began saying, “I’m voting for the white guy” the same way blacks said they voted or would vote for H. Obama because he’s half black?

They won't say it. They will just do it -- just like a substantial portion of Hillary voters did during the primaries.

The speaker said Obama and the other Democratic presidential candidates “have attracted millions of more voters — first-voters voters and many more voters who haven’t voted in a long time.

If Obama does not go into the second half of October with a minimum 15% lead among likely voters he is cooked. Half of that 15% lead will be liars who will tell the polsters one thing and do another.

I wouldn't put much stock in that poll. It's probably measuring the initial disappointment of the Hillary voters over the Biden nomination. That effect will fade. Figure on Obama being up by 8 to 10 points by the end of the convention, which the MSM will read as a 10 to 12 point bounce.

It's clear that the Democrat fantasy of being able to sell nothing for four days straight is running into problems. Even Carville knows it.

Nanny Pelosi is still trying to figure out where does 'natural gas' come from.

The dems already own ‘the ground’ on election day, other people know that ‘ground’ as cemetaries where dead people are raised like Lazarus, to vote for straight democrat tickets.

Good evening, I'm Joe K. Daver and I'd like to talk to you about why I am supporting Barack Hussein Obama for Change We <strike>Can Believe in!</strike> Need.

As a not so recently deceased corpse from 1885 I have seen a lot of politicians come and go from here on the other side of the River Styx and let me tell you I, for one, have NEVER seen a politician like Senator Obama. Being deceased healthcare issues mean a lot to me, and that is why I am in favor of an America that looks more like what could and should be than what is. Now that young whippersnapper John McCain is making a lot of hay over Obama's history...let me tell you young living man I know something about history and if Obama is overtly tied in with the founder of the Molly McGuiers well you can't mine for coal without breaking a few eggs....
