At least a handful of those houses Obama smears McCain with were bought to provide for family–Cindy McCain’s elderly aunt, for instance. Sure most of us don’t have the money to do that for our families, but most of us would if we did.

That’s exactly the point. How much would it actually cost Obama to make his brother’s life better? If the guy really is living on only $1 a month, how well would he live on $100 a month? I think Obama could afford that.

I wouldn’t expect Obama to fully finance and take care for his half-brother (although according to Obama’s politics, he probably should…) but at least give him a little help. What’s the harm in that?

He’s not heavy. He’s my brother (and he doesn’t eat much.)

Anyway. Listening to that speech (linked above) made me angry.

Obama wants us to give all our money to the government not people in need. I give. I give to people directly or through church. I don’t trust the government!!!!

And you can bet that I help my siblings and my siblings help me when needed! I am my brother’s keeper. (I mostly have sisters) But Obama’s own brother. Not the children of Chicago but his own brother!!!

Hypocrit!

That speech should be used in the ad. And the stupid John McCain stuff shouldn’t be used. They didn’t mention that McCain has his relatives living in those houses. So it sort of didn’t make sense. Good idea but get use a more professional approach.

OK, I’m gonna go there…

It’s a genius way to make Michelle off-limits. No one will be able to criticize the Holy Mother. All would be golden until a week or two before the election. Then, God forbid, the stress of the Evil Republican attacks causes the Holy Mother to “miscarry” right before the election. Oh lord, then not only are Republicans Racist, they are also Murderers. Major dead baby bounce. (This despite the fact that the Dems don’t consider a fetus an actual BABY, of course.)

I can see the headlines already. The Obamas soldier on to save the country – nay, the planet – despite their heartbreak.

Women identify. The hard-core female Hillary supporter melts in empathy, supports Michelle in sisterhood, admires her courage and fortitude in the face of tragedy. Obama is seen as a wounded warrior on the political battlefield – noble and enduring. Men aspire to his greatness. Instant gravitas.

As a strategy, not bad.

What could be really effective is an ad pointing out that Barack Obama made his first million from “Dreams from My Father” which romanticized his supposed solidarity with Africa, but never mentioned the nightmare that both Barack Hussein Obama Sr. and Jr. left behind. Obama Jr. got rich on his family’s backs, but never did a thing for them.

Cain, in the Bible: “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

McCain (to Obama): “Are you your brother’s keeper?”

Barack Obama lives in this house … wants to live in this house … while his own brother lives in this one.

Best friend from High School got addicted to drugs, Obama basically told him to get help, but not from him. Obviously, this was the right decision. You don’t want to bring someone into your family/life that has those types of issues, so chalk one up for the him.

Obama’s father was a polygamist, whether he was a true believer in Islam or not (his Luo tribe is Islamic) he was still married (illegally here in the US) to multiple women simultaneously.

Personally, this ad doesn’t sound very bright to me. Considering the McCain household attack, it would probably have been more biting to bring up Obama’s dealings with slum lord Tony Rezko (an enemy of poor everywhere), his obtaining a sweetheart deal on his house (which would have pissed off of a lot people in the recent housing environment), and to question why Obama feels its so wrong to own multiple houses or be successful. I mean, the nutroots on the left that are living on a small carbon footprint and would react strongly to this message aren’t the target of this ad anyways, they are already voting for their messiah (small “m”). So, Obama’s team are idiots for trying to sell anti-success to the rest of America, because I guaran-damn-tee that the majority of Americans want to believe in the dream of possible success in this country, and if Obama is bashing success (which is different than privilege), he will look anti-American.
