It might not be for you, but for many if not most in the base it would be a make or break moment. I do not think he could win if the base deserts! IMHO

I like Palin too. From what I have seen and read about the lady, she is everything an American women should be, from my Conservative view of course, but I wonder how she would fare against a Biden in debate.
I keep reflecting back on how Cheney took apart the Silky Pony, experience vs not.
Not comparing Palin to that, but I think you get my point.

BTW: I see a Palin/Jindal ticket in the near future…

To be effective, the Hillary supporters need to leave (in unison) just before NoBamaZero begins his speech… that would leave little time for the… uh… um… “street people” that they have standing by as replacements.

Betcha money the MSM TV coverage does few or no “crowd shots” that would reveal any empty seats.

Who can doubt 99% of the Dem fems support Hillary just because she’s a gurrl? –not because they particularly like her. Nobody likes her.

I suggest that Indythinker above (”Do not pick Palin. To understand why, you have to understand female psychology”) ascribes more discernment and critical thinking to the Dem fems than they in fact possess.

If Obama was running against Rudy, I would vote for Rudy. In some instances, it is not a dealbreaker for me, either. But, choosing a pro-choice VP candidate when you do not have to is unprincipled and needlessly provokes the base (which you need to get elected).

I do believe that if Sarah Palin is chosen to be the Veep then turn out the lights the party is over and McCain is the next president.
There are more women registered voters then men. Women out vote men and they are very independent in their voting. However, over the years they have been solidifying behind the Democrats. The Democrats have twice the number of women elected then what Republicans have.
Palin is pro-life. She knows the energy issues better then anyone else. Her honesty and credibility are legend. She is wealthy also. She was elected as Governor to bring “change” (I am really getting to hate that word). Unlike so many politicians she has to date delivered on that promise.
She is very attractive, she is articulate, and she can and will fight.
The knock will be lack of experience and the answer is simple she has more executive experience then Joe Biden and Barack Obama combined. Actually she will have more management experience then the other three combined.
At some time the Republicans will have to address the gender gap that they suffer from, either that or get used to being a minority party, forever.

While I have been secretly hoping for a Democratic Thunderdome this week; my rational self was convinced that it would all be lockstep and phony happy faces. But since yesterday, we have Ed Rendell and Ted Strickland going back to their Hillary raving roots and trashing the media bias and Hillary and Co. jetting out of town before The One holds Mass on Thursday.

Ya know… there might be something to this.

I may watch just to see if I can see how many homeless people with fresh haircuts I can count. Obama is going out on a limb here… no concerts before this one.
