Highway robbery in De.

The De. Turnpike, (I-95, from the I-295/I-495 junction to Maryland border) is about 10 miles long. The toll booth is at the Md. border. They charge $3.00 both ways, north and south bound. It could even be higher now. Not sure because I use back roads to get around the toll since the last increase. There are no tolls at any of the exits in De. So us De. residents get a free ride.

Side note. Check the border between Pa. and northern De. It is the only border I know of that is semicircle.

I had a great time yesterday. Spent the whole day in Sussex county except for a brief jaunt into southern Kent county. Went to the wildlife preserve and saw hundreds of herons and horseshoe crab carcasses. Then there was the camel and the herd of buffalo. Had a great day in Delaware.

For the record, if it has not already been stated, Kaine is not a native Virginian, nor is he a Southerner. No offense Yanks, but this dumb cluck is one of y’alls and it was all the non-native Virginian’s who got this guy elected. So don’t blame us. Kaine criticizes McCain for not knowing how many houses he owns, but can’t find the borders of the state he governs. What a shmuck.

One of the greatest things about living in Delaware is that you can’t possibly get lost. Drive long enough in any direction and you’ll either end up at a large body of water or another state. Lower DE is nice. It can be dull at times, depending on what you like to do, but all the small towns make it a good place to raise your kids. Joe Biden is a nitwit.

Both Tim Kaine and Mark Warner are not native Virginians and obviously don’t have full knowledge of the geography of the state. They were bought in to be moderate democrats to appeal to middle of the road conservatives and to help turn a red state into a blue one. They are Dem plants who have succeeded in their goals thus hoodwinking unknowing Virginians who know no better.

Well, our governor to the contrary, we can read. And even though when we have a democrat governor we generally go repub in the nationals.
Who elected Kaine? You can blame that other Virginia – Northern Virginia. It is heavly populated with libs and they outnumber most of the state. But sometimes south side Virginia gets mobilized and votes R. And in the last two governor races the repubs ran lousy campaigns.
Not all of us are as stupid as our governor.
