I always remember the warm stale beer smells on the sidewalk with bees flying around….while eating my strawberry milk shake at the Dairy barn… wait those weren’t warm beer smells… it WAS the Democratic Party booth.

I grew up in Falcon Heights, and would walk to the fairgrounds daily when it was going on. I saw some great acts there over the years, and will always remember the taste of the hot-out-of-the-grease mini donuts! Oh yeah, and then getting sick on the rides at the midway.
