Oh, and bear this in mind too: To the extent that public consensus has settled on the notion that the war was wrong but the surge was right, Biden will be the one and only candidate among the final four who’ll have voted wrong on both. Genius indeed.

There are many areas in Iraq that have Sunni,Shia,and Kurd
living side by side.

If the movement of like minded people that share the same
heritage or religious beliefs is some kind of sign of failure,than start withdrawing from all major cities in the
US because there are concentrated(Harlem,China town) areas of blacks,whites,Hispanics,Italians,Asians …etc…etc..etc… in all of them.

This is not forced segregation,it is a natural progression
of choice by the people.

Violence did force people to flee or to seek safe haven
with those they felt safe with,this happens in war.

The stabilization of Iraq has brought back hundreds of thousands of people and they will continue to come back in
time if they want to.

Iraq is a success and trying to continue to cry “but what about this and that” is going to go the same way that all the mistakes of wars like WWI and WWII did,down the memory hole or relegated to whinnying by people who just can’t accept they were wrong when they said that Iraq could not come together and work toward a free society.

It’s Ayad Allawi guys, Bush’s one true stooge in Iraq. I think I can leave it at that.

Last I checked, buddy, Ayad Allawi lived in Iraq. You think he doesn’t have the right to an opinion about his own country because he’s, as you put it, Bush’s one true stooge? Have you ever thought that maybe that’s what he really thinks? Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe someone who lives in Iraq might, maybe, perhaps know a little more of what’s going on in Iraq than say, you?

I think you’re an idiot, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have a right to an opinion.

Biden wanted to divide up Iraq like a thanksgiving turkey. And the Iraqi people didn’t want that. And it wasn’t. If Biden had his way, the three countries of today would look nothing like the single unified Iraq, with people learning to live together again and have peace. And that future would have been worse, not better.

What two absolutely unqualified persons to be placed into positions of power for this country and the world. Lord help us and the world if they win.

If Iraq didn’t turn around, there’s no way – simply none – Obama would have selected a person who voted for the war.

It’s remarkable how far the Iraq issue has fallen off the political landscape. It’s now a secondary issue.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said the Obama-Biden ticket will bring the change the country needs, including a filibuster-proof Senate majority.

I’m not sure what makes Scary Harry think this union of B.O. and J.B. is going to make the senate “filibuster-proof”. It would also require Democrats to win at least nine of 11 targeted U.S. Senate races, PLUS, not lose a single seat currently of their own, even if the Obama-Biden ticket wins. Democrats and Republicans are currently tied at 49 seats each in the Senate. The two independents caucus with the Democrats. Democrats barely control the Senate by a razor-thin 51-49 majority only because of the two independents.

It’s not impossible, actually, it’s plausible. Republicans have 23 seats to defend, including 5 left vacant by retiring incumbents, while the Democrats have just 12 seats to defend. But I think Scary Harry is counting his eggs before they hatch. I’d love to see the people of America demonstrate just how far out of touch the Defeatocrats are with reality when not only B.O. & J.B. lose, but the Republicans retain their seats PLUS add a few former Defeatocrats seat. Man, that would be sweet.

Those crazy neocons just screw everything up.
