I sort of feel the way you do. But he is the ‘anointed’, just not by God; rather, by the MSM, Oprah and foreigners.

I’m just glad to see someone ridiculing his messianic complex and satisfied to see McCain benefiting from it.

Though, as an aside, I must admit that a McCain administration would probably be intolerable, just not quite as horrific as an Obama administration. I am thinking of adopting the Coulter Option and voting for Hillary; write-in if I must.)

As a Christian, I find the comparison between Obama and Jesus Christ offensive. Yeah, I know Obama’s the one who initiated it with the help of the idiots in the MSM, and with his comment of “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for” — which is only one example. I don’t see any reason that McCain needs to continue it though. There are plenty of substantive issues that we can hit Obama on like domestic policy, his support for infanticide, foreign policy, past and present relationships like Wright, Ayers, Rezco, Pfleger, etc.

Yes, McCain has been hitting him on those issues too, but why risk offending a substantial portion of the American population with this comparison when there are more substantive routes of attack?

Gracious goodness, the BEST part of the entire ad is how it leads into Obama himself doing the Moses on the Mount routine over and over again.

McCain didn’t digitally put an Obamatron behind a podium ~ Obama showed up and spaketh such scheisse all on his own!

The real question will be, when this ad airs (as I hope it will), how many Mom ‘n Pops in West Virginia or Ohio are gonna look at each other quizzically and ask:

“Did I hear that right? Did he really say that?”

Well I like the ‘stupid ads’! Sometimes a laugh or light hearted moment is precisely what’s needed. And it highlights how ‘very seriously’ the one takes himself. Sure, we can and should speak of the important issues, but not every darn minute. Give me a belly chuckle to brighten the day and get my attention any day.

Most American voters are smart enough to understand that Obama’s plan to raise taxes, vastly increase the size of the federal government, and keep us dependent on foreign oil for the next several decades is a recipe for disaster.
