Minnesota union endorses … Coleman?

Al Franken just got hammered by the Minnesota Carpenters Union. Their endorsement for Norm Coleman reverses a string of Democratic endorsements and underscores the fringe nature of the Franken campaign:
When I occasionally listened to our local Air America affiliate, I heard plenty of advertising for unions — including, I believe, this particular union. I can’t find any supporting material from that period (I stopped listening even occasionally when I stopped commuting almost two years ago), but if my recollection is accurate, it’s an even bigger embarrassment for Franken. When his old sponsors at the liberal talk-radio network can’t bring themselves to publicly associate themselves with him, Minnesota Democrats have to wonder whether they can repair the damage Franken is doing to the brand. You’re a stronger man than I, Ed Morrissey.
Actually, I’m not sure there even is an Air America affiliate in Toledo.

Good, it’s a good trade, i used to be a construction laborer for a couple years, industrial maintenance we did everything(my uncle owned the company, ha working for family stinks you get paid less than everyone else we weren’t union). Then i went on to a different trade, told my slave driver uncle to find someone else. :)

Franken then stormed into the office and punched the union rep square in the face.

“Franken then stormed into the office and punched the union rep square in the face.”
If only he would, I’d love to see Franken walking around with a jigsaw stuck straight up his ass.
It would probably give him some much needed perspective, come to think of it.

Anecdotal evidence only, but the Carpenters Union around my town always seems to rent their space to R candidates for meetings and such. Maybe their aren’t as ideological as other unions?

I often wonder how these union guys can get enthusiastic about candidates like Namby-Pamby Obambi and little wussy pseudo-intellectuals like Al Franken.
Occasionally, even mob controlled union bosses have to get disgusted with these guys to the point they can’t endorse a worthless little pervert like Franken.

There’s a site called Minnesota Democrats Exposed..You should see how the resident defenders of the LibTard creed are trying to spin this in the comments section.
“The conservative base is not going to accept this kind of endorsement..” That kind of thing….
Yeah, Coleman supporters are going to throw a hissy fit because an organization that, almost with out exception, goes with the Democrat. Far from not giving an endorsement to either one (a mild slap in the face for FrankenTard)…they give the nod to Coleman.
Yeah, that’s gotta be bad for Norm…

This has got to be about the Unions trying to take away the secret ballot for union members. They can’t push that enough as far as I am concerned because that is fundamentally, dare I say it, Un-American.

Not that I endorse this but…
Nail his thing (you know what) to a tree and leave there overnight with a butter knife..

Al, on the way out, don’t forget to turn the lights off, good by, good luck, good riddence, get lost, get your A$$ out of here, go jump in the bay, take a hike, so long, see ya, don’t let the door hit you on the way out, ta-ta, don’t forget to put the dog out, hasta la vista baby, drive safely, have a nice day, and my regards to you and the horse you rode in on, I’m sorry it had to come to this, come back and see us sometime, write if you feel like it, leave the key under the mat, don’t leave mad, but take your stinking Democrat donkey ass with you and just leave, sorry it didn’t work out, but you know how things are, win a few lose a few, Welcome home baby, all is forgiven for your return to Air America…but, only if you pay us, because we’re not going to pay you a dime!
