A comedy in three acts.

ACT ONE

Obama rails against his opponent for being out of touch. A passerby picks up a crumpled newspaper with a long forgotten story of a few weeks ago covering Obama's private comment in a meeting with billionaires that Americans "cling to their guns and religion," instead of voting for Democrats. John McCain walks by and Obama's surrogates make a sport with jokes about his age, claiming he is forgetful, senile, and out of touch. McCain takes their jokes like a man, rolling with the punches, going about his business. The scene shifts to Obama meeting with his advisors, fretting that despite their glorious campaign, the One's poll numbers are falling behind. END OF ACT ONE.

ACT TWO

On a quiet street corner, a reporter interviews John McCain, and asks him how many houses he has. McCain stammers and says he doesn't know. Immediately, bursting out of every window and door are Obama surrogates singing praise to their man-god, claiming McCain is too rich, too old, too out of touch, and he can't relate to the common man like the One can. Obama then strolls by with his advisors, wearing a big smirk on his face, talking about what he'll say in his victory speech. END OF ACT TWO.

ACT THREE

The whole town gathers to hear one of McCain's supporters speak about how Obama got his million dollar mansion from Tony Rezko, a convicted felon, with Obama paying Rezko back by sending public money to Rezko. As for McCain, he doesn't own any houses, but his wife owns seven, all paid for with her own money. Obama's supporters shrug their shoulders and go home. The good townsfolk gather around John McCain and invite him to attend the town barbecue held at the park. At the barbecue, Obama is holding a gold medallion on a string, trying to hypnotize the town into voting for him. The townsfolk roll their eyes and tell him to scram. Curtains!

Excellent ad.

I have been a Mccain supporter from the start of the 2008 campaign in January 2007. I have seen a lot of doubts experssed on this site and elsewhere about McCain which I thought were mistaken. But I knew McCain was the right guy when he stood loyal with and for our magnificent troops in Iraq at a low point in the war when my older son was serving as U.S. Army infantry platoon leader there. Now, are you all seeing the guy in McCain who is a fighting American patriot who can and will win the Presidency in November?

Since when is wealth a disqualifying factor for national office anyway? If we've got to have political leaders, I prefer some that have actually achieved some success before going into politics.

Obama's attack was just stupid from every angle.

Alphie, Obama started running negative ads in June, and has ever since. In fact, Obama went negative first. So far, McCain has "dropped" into the lead.

I think the people who could be swayed by negative ads from McCain have already been swayed.

Be interesting to see how far McCain drops after Obama's first set of negative ads.

They should've asked if Ubama wants the government to own all houses and Section-8 them out to everyone, which I believe is what he truly wants. This "man" is a Capitalist-hating, America-hating Communist.

The wheels are coming off the campaign the more Obama goes off the teleprompter.

One more observation. More and more I get the feeling that Barry thinks he's a stand up comic. I have to carry my bucket around with me when The 'funny' One is on the airwaves or on the tube.
