I’m not sure if you are being serious or sarcastic. But just in case you (or any others) mis-read MY comment, I WAS being sarcastic. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Cindy, her family, or McCain. I as irritated by alphie’s comments and think alphie’s pulling at straws.

The Senate Ethics Committee probe of the Keating Five began in November 1990, and committee Special Counsel Robert Bennett recommended that McCain and Glenn be dropped from the investigation. They were not. McCain believes Democrats on the committee blocked Bennett’s recommendation because he was the lone Keating Five Republican.

In February 1991, the Senate Ethics Committee found McCain and Glenn to be the least blameworthy of the five senators. (McCain and Glenn attended the meetings but did nothing else to influence the regulators.) McCain was guilty of nothing more than “poor judgment,” the committee said, and declared his actions were not “improper nor attended with gross negligence.”

You know, anybody who has flown fighters in combat, been shot down and survived years of torture- has pretty much proved his masculinity. So I figure McCain can still be considered a man’s man, even if his wife brings home the bacon.

Isn’t this the way it always is with liberals? If you don’t answer fast enough, they smear you with lies. By the time you get to the truth, which requires more than a 3 word answer( which I know, too complex for them to follow…) they’ve lost interest and are looking at the next shiny object. But the smear stands. I despise liberals.

Who cares. This is the best shot the Democraps have got? Give me a break. After watching the Democrap talking head on H&C last night “This is what they do. This is what they do.” That’s all you got. Where’s the logic & critical thinking? How about a straight answer for once or are the Democrap ideas that crappy?

Know any Church Lady Christians, do you? If you did, you’d probably find out those little old grey haired ladies possess more forgiveness than anything ever to come out of the Rev Wright’s Trinity Church of Christ. I’m not sure how any liberal arrives at the point where claiming Christians are so much more unforgiving than seculars and atheists. Logic and the powers of observation don’t seem to be particularly strong points in their character. Because forgiveness isn’t a concept born out of politics. It came from religion, and remains the primary focus of the Christian faith to this day.

Because I haven’t found a single Obama supporter yet who doesn’t want Hillary to go away and quit messing up the O’s party, and for me to go to jail for being a Republican. Not just my candidate to be defeated in the election, but honest to “goodness” disgust and hatred that I, as a Republican, actually exist. They will ignore all other distinctions once they know someone is for Obama. But say you are a Republican first, and jail, disgust, seizure of my personal property, and comments and disbelief involving the war crimes of the Bush administration and the stupidity of my family and myself follows. How did I ever get to be an engineer when I am clearly stupid or out of touch with reality?

I am waiting for the morning after the election when the sun still rises in the east, and the US military still stands watch, and the guy who served 5.5 yrs in a North Vietnamese prison cell, served in the US Congress for over 30 yrs, who has kids who serve their country, a wife who adores him, and is one of the most honest Men I have heard of, takes his victory lap with a humble and contrite heart, and no bad words for Mr. Obama. And I’ll open a new gallon of milk, pour some chocolate sauce into it, make myself some ham and eggs…… and laugh my ass off. Justice. And a great breakfast.

It just don’t get better than that!

I haven’t seen the document, and I doubt anyone but their attorneys have, either. Prenups were not all that uncommon among the very wealthy, even in 1980. In the McCains’ case, it stemmed from the wishes of Cindy’s father that McCain not get a hold of the family business. He seems to have gone along with it pretty readily. I think he honestly doesn’t give two hoots about money. He’s not getting any of that property if they divorce or she dies, and that’s why he’s totally unfamiliar with Cindy’s holdings.

It makes me feel so much better to know that McCain sponges off of his wife. That’ll make it so much easier for him to continue to sponge off of special interest groups.
