George recently posted a video showing longtime Barack Obama chum, Bill Ayers holding court with some Chavista socialists. Now it should be noted that Obama has tried to whitewash Ayers past and present, claiming he is now mainstream. But in……

He’s a socialist. Socialists think that genocide is a small price to pay merely because their intent was to create a utopia. Whether their utopia materialized or can ever even theoretically materialize does not matter. Their heart was in the right place, according to them, so any unfortunate unforseen consequences are irrelevant.

Socialism is easily the most godless, irresponsible, evil system to ever come along. Nazism, Communism, Leninism, and Stalinism are all just variations on the same theme: Complete and total control over everyone at the hands of the government. Any price in blood is worth it to them, as long as it isn’t their own.

Jihadists, at least, are willing to pay with their lives. Socialists are cowards and “academics” who send other people to die in order to enhance their own power. The ideal socialist is a Professor of Education living in a well fortified, luxurious mansion who sends braver and stronger men to die in order to make him supreme ruler. Che is glorified because he is the perfect pawn, an amoral slug willing to kill anyone who stands in the path of his superiors. They don’t put pictures of Hitler and Stalin up on the walls because they would have to complete with those autocrats.

For example, try on these piercing zingers directed at Bill Ayers’ idol, che.

“It would be a great mistake,” Walter Lippmann wrote in the Washington Post that same month, “even to intimate that Castro’s Cuba has any real prospect of becoming a Soviet satellite.”

A few months earlier the London Observer had observed: “Mr. Castro’s bearded youthful figure has become a symbol of Latin America’s rejection of brutality and lying. Every sign is that he will reject personal rule and violence.”

Just two? I count the Woods Fund, the Joyce Foundation, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, and the Alliance for Better Chicago Schools (ABC’s) which worked with Obama’s Developing Communitites Project, in addition to the education forum (s?) Michelle Obama arranged, where Bill Ayers was a featured speaker.
