You can play by any rules you want. I prefer to be fair. He did not rape, beat, or kill anyone. He was punished. It’s been five years. Again, I don’t understand this need to absolutely destroy people to the point they are prevented from obtaining a job.

As I recall, it was Colson’s attitude (and G. Gordon Liddy also) that got him the hardest hits. Right or wrong, they couldn’t handle him then and they cannot handle him now.

My favorite Colson quote: “When you’ve got ‘em by the b@lls, their hearts and minds will follow.”

He now preaches the Gospel, with the same single-minded focus on results. His prison ministry is never really discussed by the MSM but its efforts have touched many lives.

Because he had to resign because of a scandal. I couldn’t care less really, but you would think the convention planners wouldn’t want to import a local scandal in their hirings. It shows they are incompetent or just oblivious.

It only shows they are liberals and things like that don’t matter to a liberal as long as you are one of them. Liberals have a far more group and tribal nature than conservatives do. Conservatives will oust people that don’t make the grade while liberals embrace and protect them. Liberals have always claimed; “The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the one.” But in reality they live their lives by “The needs of the one out weigh the needs of the many.” Let’s face it, conservatives don’t really have the liberal equivalent of “poster boy” nor do they ban something like peanut butter in all state schools because there is a single child allergic to it.

Let’s face it, a non liberal can never ever be punished enough for something they or an ancestor may or may not have done and liberals have no problem screaming at the top of their lungs how the world will end because of it. Liberals on the other hand can do no wrong even if they have broken laws.

The landlord of a South Side apartment building in the Woodlawn neighborhood was reported in critical condition early Tuesday after he apparently was doused with gasoline and set afire by a former tenant, Chicago police said.

Officers responded to a fire at the building in the 6300 block of South Ellis Avenue about 2:15 a.m. and found the 77-year-old victim who was later taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Police were looking for the former tenant, a 28-year-old man, Tuesday morning.

This is the same area where Obama ran around with a clipboard for a couplel of weeks as a “community organizer”
