Because they NEVER have any serious opposition. It’s always some milk toast nonentity or a ‘libertarian’ who runs a chain of massage parlours. If a serious candidate even suggests he/she may run, they never get out of the blocks because they get a taste of what’s to come: rent-a-mob pickets your home and business, they harass your neighbors and friends, they follow your kids to school and stir up trouble with other parents and teachers. Who wants to put up with that? SF and Bay Area are one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial areas on the planet yet it’s PUBLIC display of politics is solidly socialist. Any surprise voter turnout is usually around 40% or less. The facts of life are conservative and most people here live conservatively.

I don’t doubt that you have to keep your conservativism a deep, dark secret but you’re dreaming if you think you’re in the majority.

To me, it’s San Fran Sicko. I’m sure there are multitudes plenty of some a few nice people like aunursa there, but the majority is nutty.

The majority of San Franciscans are moderate to conservative. THAT’S RIGHT, THE MAJORITY! Because the local political class and media are so firmly left and far left and so firmly in control of the political dialogue and where the dialogue takes place; it is all but impossible to have a PUBLIC dialogue about conservative principles without having your life ripped apart by the local political comissars of the left. Who’s willing to put up with that? Most Russians didn’t belong to the communist party, nor do most chinese belong to the communist party. Same with SF: most don’t belong to the party. It’s an iron curtain maintained by social pressures instead of KGB thugs.

Check out the positively creepy video (”One Voice”) replete with ominous sounding drums, where Barry the demogogue says that his opponents (us!) want to divide us, that “…there is no black America, no Asian America…we are “one people” blah blah blah on the same flipping web page where he divides us based the multiculti heritage of his supporters.

Orwell lives. We’ve survived 1984, but 2012 is looking very scary.

While I appreciate the article, as a fourth generation native, I find the “Frisco” reference in the headline painful.

It’s not racist to wonder whether an untested, inexperienced Senator with no legislative track record and no military record presents a risk as President.

Barry O may not have much of a legislative or military record, but he’s got enough of a record of being dead wrong on military matters to convince me he’s too much of a risk to be President. He was wrong about the surge in Iraq, just like he was wrong when he initially admonished the Georgians to get along with the Russians invading their country. He’s also dead wrong, and incredibly foolish, to be advocating gutting our military and severely curtailing our military spending at a time when this nation faces so many dangers from so many different sources.

“Risky” isn’t a code word for black, Barry. It means potentially dangerous, and that’s exactly what you are. Not because you had an African father, but because you’re clueless about how the world really works. Perhaps if you hadn’t spent so much of your life obsessing over race and looking for evidence of racial slights in every word uttered by others, you might have had more time to study and learn about issues that really matter.

And speaking of raaaaacists, how is it that one of Obama’s more celebrated (and foul-mouthed) campaign consultants, Mudcat Saunders, gets away with having a Confederate Flag as a bedspread with nary a peep of outrage from the MSM or the Justice Brothers?

Most “Oriental” (I think that term is verbotten now, not sure) folks in America actualy did put up with Racism, and overcame it through the hard work of generations… they have very little sympathy for the perpetual victim card the Black play…

So that messege would not have gone over well with this particualr crowd…

Just wait until he gets in front of either a Black, or Liberal Guilt White Crowd, he’ll get back on messege.

What issues? They’re all above Obama’s pay grade.

McCain ain’t the one constantly bringing out the race card. It’s that other guy.

Obama HAS to bring out the race card, because it’s his best (and pretty much only) card.

What else does he have? Without it, he’s pretty much the black John Edwards, without the hefty bank account.

Racial guilt on the part of whites and racial unity on the part of blacks is the only reason Obama is in this race in the first place.
