Oh, thanks for lumping together those who believe that BO is another dangerous dem candidate and that the corsi’s facts fuel that argument.

these days, middle of the road is just the peanut gallery.

Look at Ron Pauls's supporters and Hillary's supporters. Ron Paul's supporters chased Sean Hannity through the streets of NH and Hillary's people are willing to burn down their convention.

They are out of their minds, both of their campaigns are riddled with Truthers. And what's so crazy about the Clinton Truthers is that they are just looney enough not to get it that if they think George Bush attacked this country what was her husband's role before him?

Up here - New York - is riddled with Truther Clinton supporters - George Bush haters.

Do you think any one these loons are thinking about all of us and the country at large? No way, they're all about I'm right, you're wrong, shut up, blah, blah, blah, some filthy name calling and accusations, more of the same, etc.

Put another way…a Truther ought not get the benefit of the doubt, even if he’s saying something in another sphere that we find pleasing.

Exactly, but many of those who want the book are "the chior". They want to hear the candidate get slammed over and over. The Far Left is the same with Arianna Huffingotn's book on McCain and the other books out there on him or Bush.

Mccain Feingold had good intentions, it was instituted to stop the Far Left and Right from their filthy campaigning as usual.

Unfortunately those good intentions that backfired.

They're campaign tactics still reek like a dirty diaper, it obviously didn't work.

This desire by the Far Right and Left to humiliate and poke fun at their political opponents and enemies is what's really twisted and should be studied more closely.

Well, I'm a guy who lost a good friend in the WTC, so I might be a little hair trigger on this.

I have an Amazon Kindle and was toying with buying Corsi's book. At $9.99 it seemed to be a bargain. However, after this revelation I'm not interested. I have no doubt that the book is factual. I have no doubt that the information within is well-researched. But at the end of the day, it doesn't tell me much that I didn't already know or suspect. Obama is an empty suit.

On the other hand, 9/11 trutherism is political leprosy for me and no hint of it should be tolerated in society. So I'd rather not give Corsi even the relative pittance of $9.99 that he'd get through my purchase...even if it is a valuable book.

The fact that the left is reacting as it is against Corsi is telling. It's telling me that the truth of Corsi's accusations cut deeply and may be mortal wounds.

Unfit for Command and the Swiftboat Veterans were devastating for Kerry. It's meme disarmed Kerry's claim to being one with the troops. It exposed his lies. And his own crewman accuses him of cowardice in the face of the enemy.

The Obamanations are afraid that he'll do it again against Obama. I think that his being a lightening rod for the swamp fever moonbats is a good thing.

In the book, he's right most of the time about Obama. Some of the "errors" in the book are matters of opinion and interpretation. Some, he got wrong.

His "truther" beliefs are irrelevant here, as his claims (like those in The Case Against Barack Obama) are well documented by footnotes to actual news articles.

If you neither like Corsi, nor believe him to be credible, then your response is clear: Don't buy the book!

Most of the books were bought up by conservative groups to pass out for free. If you clicked on the link to view “Complete Hardcover Nonfiction List »” you will notice this symbol > (†), for Corsi’s book.

A dagger (†) indicates that some bookstores report receiving bulk orders.

Most of the “footnotes” refer to his previous <strike>writings</strike> rants.

Please inform us with some, even one, detail from the book which we might find interesting.

barack was recruited by a group of commie (alinsky),
white chicago activists in the 80s.

they needed a black front man for their movement.

they ran an ad in the nytimes for a 'community organizer.'
barack answered the ad.
one of the guys, jerry kellman, meet him in ny and signed him up on the stop.

and that's how he got to chicago, where it all started.

barack, the real manchurian candidate.

Jerome Corsi thought it was a good idea to go on a white nationalist/supremacist radio show. Idiot.

Aside from looking like a heirloom tomato, the guy is an idiot. No matter what information he puts forth, he has set back conservatives.

By making himself a fixture and factor in the last two eletions Dr. Jerome Corsi has handed Republicans a truly bankable legacy -- tainting elections.

I just finished Corsi’s book. He has over 700 footnotes and it is a book that is easy to read and understand. If there are things in there that aren’t the truth, why isn’t Obama’s group taking Corsi to court? He lays it all out and it isn’t looking good for Obama, thus the hissy fits from the MSM.

“…the old communist adage that derision would cause community audiences to laugh at their opponents, rather than listen to what their opponents were saying.” J.Corsi/the Obama Nation- Barry’s connection w/ Alinsky-pg131.

Read the book & decide for yourself because the truth is where you find it.

Agreed. Moreover anyone who believes that this country attacked itself and that the Bush & Clinton Admin were invloved need to stop thinking and verbalizing out loud, immediately.
And hopefully stop reproducing, as well.

I frankly don't care if Corsi believes in UFO's or that the moon landing was filmed in a studio -- because that's not the issue here. The issue is whether Obama can refute all the research that's been dug up by various internet bloggers and websites, sources from which Corsi has taken much of his information.

After reading the Obama campaign's rebuttal of "factual inaccuracies" (rather than the personal attack on Corsi), I'd say they've failed, miserably -- as has the media, which is now attempting to compound the lack of actual reporting on this candidate's background by throwing smoke bombs to cover their ineptitude.

From Newsbusters: It would help Obama's campaign if they, while trying to refute Corsi, did not refer to Bob Beckel as a Republican strategist. Twice.

Republican Strategist Bob Beckel Said That He’s Convinced Michelle Obama Meant That She Had Seen People Unify Around The Basic Issues And It Made Her Proud.

Republican Strategist Bob Beckel said about Michelle Obama’s comment, “She should not have said it the way she said it, but in fairness to her, she said that she had seen people unify around the basic issues and it made her proud. But she was talking about was the fact that she was proud that people were starting to deal with politics from the top down. I am convinced that she meant it that way.” [Fox News Roundtable, 2/19/08]

Beckel, of course, managed ultra-lib Walter Mondale's campaign for president in 1984, the one that got steamrollered by Reagan. Now he'll have to fight off the Obama smear. Geraghty jokes: "Attention, Obama campaign: Not everyone who appears on Fox News is a Republican." http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2008/08/16/obama-goofs-bob-beckels-republican

I noticed a lot of that sort of thing while reading Obama’s denials that he posted at his website. There is a lot of: “Corsi lied because *insert discredited liberal media outlet here* asserted something different in an article”

Buddahpundit on August 16, 2008 at 9:03 AM

Apparently, Obama's campaign considers its own website an invalid source.

On page 28 of Obama's denials:

LIE: “Kessler claimed he and Obama both heard Wright preach a sermon that day in which the preacher blamed the ‘white arrogance’ of America’s Caucasian majority for the world’s suffering, especially the oppression of blacks.” [p 196]

REALITY: OBAMA WAS IN FLORIDA THE DAY OF WRIGHT’S SERMON

New York Times: Obama Was In Florida On The Day That Kessler Said He Was In Chicago. The New York Times reported, “Mr. Obama, however, was giving a speech in Florida that afternoon, and his campaign reported he had not attended Mr. Wright’s church that day.” [New York Times, 8/13/08] (Note that this article was written after the book was published.)
The Obama campaign just happened to omit Corsi's very next sentence on p. 196:
“The Obama campaign promptly posted a new denial, claiming Obama did not attend church services in Chicago on July 22.”

And Corsi's source for that statement? Footnote #75:
“Fact: Obama Did Not Attend Services on July 22,” Obama Presidential Campaign Website, posted March 16, 20008 at "http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck/...

Hilarious. Will the media -- and the bloggers who are playing right into the game of bombast -- bother to factcheck the factchecker?

Apparently not.

Tapper hits on some of the Obama campaign lies, but far from all, such as refuting a Corsi statement with something Obama said, and calling Obama’s statement a fact — simply because Obama said it. Does Tapper perhaps believe a statement by Obama qualifies as fact?

The dynamic that is very telling with this story; the MSM is working their collectives asses off vetting the author of a book rather than vetting a virtual unknown (with very close ties with people who hate America) running for potus.

The MSM once again is the real story here.
