Via Tapper, a palate-cleansing Kinsleyan gaffe from Susan Collins confirming that everyone in America, from the checkout counter to the Senate, is on the same page vis-a-vis Silky. The exchange starts at 2:00. Meanwhile, Radar picks through the latest tidbits from the Enquirer (print edition only) and floats a familiar theory about who their super-secret source might be. Exit quotation: “Of course I love you. Don’t worry, we’ll get through this.”

Haven’t read all the links, yet.
“Of course I love you. Don’t worry, we’ll get through this.”
Is this what Elizabeth said to John, upon his confession?

Let me get this straight, so she’s saying that it’s NOT okay to cheat on your cancer stricken dying wife with a new-age groupie? My head’s spinning.
JFK did far worse, as did Clinton, and EDWARDS gets thrown under the bus. What are we dealing with here? It’s so hard for Dhimmicrats to judge when there’s no moral standard at all.
BTW I hate the word bi-partisan. Myself, I’m heteropartisan.
She seems like a very nice lady.
Mojave Mark on August 14, 2008 at 6:32 PM
She should have no trouble, the strange and nice lady.
Entelechy on August 14, 2008 at 6:32 PM
Liz should ship the silky pony to the glue factory. She has her own money. She doesn’t need him. She should spend her last days doing things she loves and being happy.

This is not the John Edwards who sued me
William Amos on August 14, 2008 at 6:34 PM
Nor the one who represented children.
He’s from the one America, just not the one his daddy was from.

That is one sweet sounding compressor on that female DJ’s voice.

Ok, I haven’t heard the whole thing yet, but where was the Kinsleyan gaffe? Did she say something she didn’t mean to say?
mikeyboss on August 14, 2008 at 6:56 PM
This person is a Senator? From the United States? Of America?
No wonder she’s going into a forced retirement from Senate.
Senator, leave the gossip to others. Do you have any professionalism? That clip made my skin crawl.
sandman on August 14, 2008 at 7:31 PM
I agree..it is disgusting that a Senator of the US would gossip on a radio show. ugh
oh..and that poster is pretty sleazy. Is this the Playboy channel?
becki51758 on August 14, 2008 at 7:35 PM
Radio infobabe: Are you shocked?
Senator Susan Collins: “Unbelievable”
“Yes,because he presented himself as this family man who
was devoted to his ill wife, his little children, his his
older daughter,so the hypocrisy of it”!
Unbelievable, this has got to be the best political season
for bagging Liberal Democrats, first its Spitzer with love
potion (client #9),then Silky betrayed the entire planet,
of Liberals that is!

Poor kid, no one wants to step up and be the dad.
Seixon on August 14, 2008 at 7:56 PM
Thought you’d like to see these two, in better times.
Andrew Yound said he would.

I live in Maine. Senator Collins is my senator. I don’t call her one of the idiot twins for nothing. But her “sister” is worse.
kmcguire on August 14, 2008 at 8:44 PM
Surprise, and warning, OT.
Entelechy on August 14, 2008 at 8:44 PM

Agreed, sandman. Susan Collins sounds like a ditz. This is the caliber of senator that we have in DC?
